Cento Anni — Local services in Holland

Had been looking for some time to replace our dining room table, and had visited multiple furniture stores and on line sites. We discovered Cento Anni "by accident" while walking in Holland Michigan, and through recommendations of new friends in this area. We were able to explore a variety of table designs in the event and worship space at Warehouse 6, and saw first hand that the wood finishes are quite durable and easy to clean and maintain. Ed and Randy provided very helpful information on wood species and finish options as well as table design to allow maximum seating space - we decided to use white oak for a farmhouse type table and curly maple for an entry bench. As an amateur woodworker I know just enough to be extra picky. Ed and his team knocked it out of the park! Every detail, each customization and the finish are just perfect. We bought a table they had been using in their event space for years because we loved the top and it’s history. But we didn’t want the wood legs and apron. They worked with us to remove the wood legs, float the top so my extra long legs fit under a standard height, changed the legs to cowbell style and reduced the length. The original table was beautiful but no false stuffiness with this team… they dug in and now it’s a marvel! Talk about turning lemons into lemonade! When a huge 130-year-old Hickory tree fell on our house, the great guys at Cento Anni cut the trunk into slabs, dried the wood, and made us a great big, live-edge dining table. The process was so much fun! They are so knowledgeable and did a wonderful job understanding what we wanted.
