Really want to like this place as it's close and available often. Since the day they opened and we went there we have had had 80% of our visits wrong or a negative experience. Most often the wait (for the kitchen) is very very long. Our food orders are almost always screwed up. Ranging anything from one experience when we ordered Nachos at the bar with no Jalapeno. They came and after we took multiple bites realized they were loaded with jalapeno. The bar tender brought out our correct order and proceeded to bring our order that had been eaten from to another table. Tonight we waited 35 minutes at a table and no server ever came. We had to flag one down who took our order, he had to be asked 4 times for water. When it finally came the parade we came downtown to see had begun. We got to go containers and left. 3 of our 6 orders were wrong (nachos loaded with jalapeno again, French dip ordered with no horseradish which it had, french dip missing auju, and tomatoes on a club that was ordered without). I could keep going with other experiences but don't want to write a novel. There are plenty of other options in Holland for food. This place is is fine if they're slow or if you want just a drink or two, but on busy nights they seem...

We (my family) we’re so excited that Big Es was reopening, is often the first choice for get togethers, and have been many times since. Great Atmosphere and…once had great food. I was there 2X on 11/26 and the service was great earlier in the day (I believe her name is Christal), wings were tasty as usual but the burrito was just a canned like enchilada type sauce and cheese on top was overheated and hard. Decided to give it a 2nd chance and went back at night for burgers. At one time the burgers were fabulous but not so on this occasion. Two of us had bacon cheese burgers. They looked delicious until the first bite, where we discovered hard overcooked meat that was basically not chewable without dipping the burger in ketchup before each bite. We may have said something to the waiter but didn’t see him again for nearly 15 minutes and …. were a little pressed for time. Had to walk up to bar for drink refills. One of our group did have a salad that was good, but the salads are not nearly the size/portion from before 2020. Hopefully this was just a one off day, but a few of us may decide to vote for elsewhere at our next...

I recently visited Big E's Sports Grill in Holland, Michigan, during the Tulip Time Festival and was deeply disappointed by my experience. The hostess greeted us with a poor attitude, which set a negative tone right from the start. Despite the numerous open tables visible, there was a frustratingly long line with no staff available to seat customers promptly.

After a nearly hour-long wait, we were finally seated, only to be met with sluggish service. It seemed the kitchen was overwhelmed and backed up, which might explain the delay, but it certainly didn’t excuse the level of unpreparedness. The food, when it finally arrived, was underwhelming and did not live up to expectations. Nothing about the meal stood out as memorable or worth the wait.

Overall, my visit to Big E's during the festival highlighted a clear lack of preparation for a busy event, reflecting poorly not only on the establishment but seemingly on the town's readiness for such a well-attended event. I would not recommend dining here, especially during busy periods, as they appear ill-equipped to handle...

Hands down best Chicken Sandwich Sliders I have ever had! You can pick whichever wing sauce you want, and each slider can be different sauce or protein. The white meat was so moist, piping hot and perfect crunchy not an overly heavy batter crust. Omg it was so good! Nachos were HUGE so we took 2/3 home in a pizza box- they are that big! Also the wedge salad was yummy- a little too much dressing. Everything at this place seems delicious- American style bar food at its finest- lots of cheese, lots of everything, big portions and satisfying. Many TVs with many sports playing- lots of people and overall good vibe. Great service- Server was super nice and and food came out fast! They have outdoor seating too. A good pick by my husband! Overall nice atmosphere. Great prices for so much food!!

Ate here with some coworkers while we were staying at the Marriott since it wasn’t too busy. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I like the atmosphere here a lot and I think it would be a fun place to catch a game. The food, however, leaves a lot to be desired. We ordered the Chips con Queso as a starter, and while the flavor was okay, I’m almost certain it was a store-bought queso that came straight from a jar. I also ordered the Al Pastor tacos, which I was disappointed to find were just pulled pork tacos (they might need to change the info on the menu or understand what Al Pastor actually is). I think if the menu and quality of the ingredients were upgraded, this place would be great. For now I would stick to the bar and try somewhere else if you’re hungry!

Right out the gate, they have video games, yay! They get 2 stars just for that alone 😆 just kidding. However, they were a surprise for me and my son, we much enjoyed them. He had the children's cheeseburger 🍔 that we added a few extras to. I ordered the olive burger and swapped out the Swiss cheese for American and provolone. My sons burger was tasty and he enjoyed it. For appetizers, we ordered pretzel sticks and fried pickles, and both were really yummy, especially fried pickles. I could have just had those and been super satisfied. The service was a team sport, and we received attention from everyone working. All and all it was good, and we will come back for the fired pickles if nothing else. Thanks for the experience.
