Wendy's — Restaurant in Holland

First stop in- service was beyond slow. So slow that we walked back to the car after waiting and the drive thru line never moved. While we were inside we witnessed a manager freak out on an off the clock employee. So bad, it prompted another customer encouraging the lobby to stay in school. We circled to see what else to eat we could find- failing we came back around 30 minutes later. We went through drive through in a manageable 3 minutes. While ordering I asked for a sweet tea. I pay, I get to the second window and a man hands me out bags. 30 seconds later, still waiting on my drinks, a woman leans out and asks me what my drinks were. I repeated and she hands me drinks with no apologies. I got one smile out of three employees. Down the road my husband takes a drink and he has unsweet tea.... I have to make my third trip only to be informed that they do not have sweet tea. Not having it is fine but it would have been far less of a waste of time to be informed the two times before I had to walk in. I asked for an unsweet tea refill and sugar packets since no one else had the suggestion to offer. As I leave I call the store to leave a review of my experience and no one will answer the phone. I was never hateful, always smiled, and even offered a good evening. For 7pm and a full looking crew I expect better service.

I am glad we are tourists. I never expect to be back. But I do suggest to avoid this...

DISGUSTING. My husbands favorite fast food restaurant is (was) Wendy's. Since we have moved near the Wendy's on 16th street we have visited a few times...and Wendy's is now our LAST RESORT. We have never had our order given to us correctly. EVER. On TWO occasions we have bit into our burger to find it red and bloody (we had to drive back and complain and ask for replacements...the second time we didn't even WANT replacements). This July when I stopped in to grab a burger for my husband, my car window was broke so I was forced to go it (it's also generally kind of dirty and stinky in there). I went in, I was waiting in line behind another woman, when I saw a fly buzz past. That alarmed me. I looked in the back where they were preparing orders....on the preparation boards where they were making sandwiches (with their bare hands), there were just flies all over. It was so revolting I actually just left and drove to the McDonald's down the street. I am appalled that not only do they serve poorly prepared food (at THIS WENDY'S PARTICULARLY), but that the cleanliness inside was so awful. I will NOT ever again eat at that Wendy's and I will be sure none of my friends in the...

This restaurant was very unclean. We stopped in to eat around 3:00 in the afternoon. Even though there were only two tables taken up in the restaurant by other customers, we could not find a clean table to sit at. I wiped down a table by myself with napkins so that we could at least eat. There were three girls sitting at a table on their break. One of the garbage cans at the end of the condiment station was overflowing onto the floor with trays sitting on top and garbage still sitting on the trays because they couldn't be emptied into the can that was overflowing. One of the employees walked over the garbage on the floor at least four times while we were eating and never made any attempt to pick it up. I was grossed out to the point that I lost my appetite and didn't finish my food. The three girls that finished their break went behind the counter when they were finished and never attempted to clean up either....
