Went back today. Asked for a double scoop on waffle cone as seen on photo. The girl got upset because I asked her to please wear gloves. She said her hands were clean and then put on gloves with an attitude. She gave me the smallest scoops ever and I could tell she was not happy about me asking about the gloves. My kids love this place. I'm sure the owner does not want his staff acting sassy to the clients. They definitely need hand hygiene and customer service training. Ice cream is always amazing. The place always smells amazing. I was observing the servers and they did not change gloves after collecting payment. I had to ask .the girl to please change her gloves because she has handled payment before preparing our food. She asked in a snarky tone if I had some kind of allergy. I had to explain to her that she needed to change gloves before preparing food if she hadled payment. She said her hands were clean. I had to explain that you don't handle payment and prepare food without either washing her hands or preparing food. When it was time to collect my payment she asked if I wanted her to change gloves before she handled my payment sarcastically. I had to explain that she could keep those or remove them. She said oh covid. I had to explain that even before covid anyone handling food needs to wash their hands if handling payment. Particularly cash. It is not the first time I've observed this. Have you ever had a sugar cookie that taste so good you thought it was lemon???? What I purchased: 2 sugar cookies 1 scoop birthday cake ice cream

What..The...H*... I can tell everyone reading this that I'm a full on, Sweet Seeker and this place just blew my tastebuds! Not to mention the birthday cake ice creams robust flavor is still coated to my tongue as a write this review 🤤🤤. The sugar cookies arent as sweet as the BCI so if you get that combo try the cookie first. If you dont, I underatand....the elements cause us to make decisions we may regret 🤨 #hotoutside The cookies are super sweet though because it still came through enough to notice. They're also soooooo soft and it wasn't even technically a "fresh batch" so idk what type of dark magic they use to pull that off. If there was a such thing as a cool baked oven I'd think that's what they were baked in (Only thing missing was the warmth to be considered fresh). Overall I give them an 8 out of 5! We’ve been regulars at Mama Bird’s, so for Valentine’s Day, I decided to purchase the Pint of the Month Club. Unfortunately, it’s been a letdown. Aside from the special pint container and being able to choose the flavor for your birthday month, it hasn’t felt worth the $127 price. It seems like we’re just getting the leftover ice cream that hasn’t sold, which might be great for clearing inventory or trying out new flavors, but not ideal when you’re paying for a premium club.

For the past two months, we’ve received the same flavor—Latte—back-to-back, and neither of us even likes it. Now we have two pints we won’t eat and will likely end up gifting. When I first saw the offer, I thought it was a fantastic gift idea, and my husband was really excited—until we realized he dislikes all the flavors we’ve received so far.
