La Granja — Restaurant in Hollywood

Terrible smell as soon as you walk in, terrible costumer service dont waste your money on this trash hole cooks dont ware gloves to deal with ready to eat food wich by the law is required otherwise is a violation of food handling ive seen cooks grab raw meat with their bare hands and trow them on the grill not wash their hands and then work with ready to eat food . I'm never going back the not after the guy who works at nite at the front that always wears white shirt and white hat multiple times just showed me what that place is about, no attention to the costumers nor the food thats coming out so you have costumers waiting for their food and the food is sitting their in front of him but because he's so busy on his phone that is too hard for him to reach for the freaking food and hande to the costumer which by the way is another violation to food handling since he is dealing with ready to eat food and he has his nasty phone all up on his hands and then proceeds to close the to go container that had my food without washing his hands, just nasty. Is like they make screw you money so they dont feel like is in their best interest to have normal people working and taking care of costumers instead of unsanitary untrained uncapable employees who do nothing but give most costumers an unpleasant experience. Finally the food was not worth the terrible experience i had fries and they tasted like the nasty smell i was talking about earlier. Conclusion this place is the worst La Granja restaurant there is and ive visited every single one of them in florida i dont know if the chain is manage by the same people or each establisment has its own owner either way this place...

warning! Warning! DO NOT! order out! of this place. This place must be reported to the FDA. Totally! unacceptable. A grizzly bear wouldn't eat this, He would have a better chance biting into a solid block of stainless steel. The most worthless ribs I ever tried to eat. A ninety pound Jack hammer couldn't get through this dry piece of letter. I can hear chef Ramsey now yelling " GET OUT! GET OUT! My wife's order was disappointing to her as well she just came from the hospital and was hungry only to get food Iron Man wouldn't touch. it was during Rush our Lunch and only a few people were there mmmm. Being that my (ribs) wasn't fit for anything that gives breath I put it in a freezer zip lock bag and berried it, who knows most likely it will become it's own time capsule. It is well Worth 35.00 to me to expose this Dump. Eating there will give you the opportunity to see for yourself it's a no win either way...

What an awesome place just a quick walk from my hotel. I got there just in time for the lunch special. 1/2 chicken with rice, beans and banana along with a cola. I added an empanada. Even with a tip it was less than 20 bucks! Delicious moist, flavorful chicken with crispy skin. Bananas were yummy. The salsa bar has a variety of choices. I tried several. They were very good. Fast, friendly service served cafeteria style. Leave your tray and plate on the table when you go. They'll clean it up for you. I wanted to try the rice pudding for dessert but I was so stuffed I got a to go box when I left to walk back to the hotel. I only gave a star on atmosphere because of the neighborhood. It was in a dirty area. Atmosphere inside was comfortable, relaxed and homey....
