Review for Wave Lounge
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Wave Lounge last night.
I purchased tickets for 4 people in advance ($300 total). When we arrived, we were told that tables could be reserved for $50 per person, but none were available. We asked to be notified if anything opened up. About an hour later, a table for 4 became available, but the cost was suddenly $400 ($100 per person). We agreed, assuming that this price would at least include some food or drinks.
Unfortunately, it did not. It took nearly half an hour to get anyone’s attention, and when a waitress finally came, I asked what was included in the $400. She told me that nothing was included — the table charge was simply for the privilege of sitting rather than standing at the bar.
By this point, we had already spent about $300 at the bar. On top of the table fee, we ordered food (4 small appetizers for another $200), and the concert itself was a disappointment.
In the end, the total came to around $1,200 for 4 people, with nothing to show for it except frustration. We left hungry, upset, and feeling taken advantage of.
This was one of the worst entertainment experiences I’ve had, and I will...

When we politely asked to change the charcoal, he gave us an annoyed look. This isn’t the first time we’ve experienced rudeness and a complete lack of customer service from him. It really puts us off and makes us not want to come back.
It’s a shame, because this used to be one of our favorite spots. We truly hope the management takes notice and addresses the service quality. We’d love to feel like welcome...
Read moreNot a bad place. Although, bartender does not notify you that the tip is already included. He only presents you with the POS, which shows the total amount, not itemized. I luckily entered my phone number to receive the receipt by text, and it was only there that I found out that an 18% tip is already included. In Miami, many places do automatically include the tip, especially in SoBe, but they are all required to inform you of that. I feel that they purposely do not tell you that the tip is already included. Ended up paying 18% + 20% tip on all my tabs. If the owner reads I'd like to get a refund on that...
