Chocolada Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Hollywood

This has been the utmost and worse experience I have ever had with a restaraunt. I would like to first start off by explaining that I ordered two Chicken florentine breakfast without cheese for my fiancé and I since I am lactose. Only to receive horrible news that they no longer serve or have chicken to create the omlette I initially requested. By the way I already payed for the meal. When I asked to speak to a manager I received a very rude and disgusting lady who told me they had new waitresses and that it wasn't her fault they messed up an order despite the fact the order was created incorrectly and didn't realize what a chicken florentine was. When I asked why the waiter did not explain that to me over the phone the manager rudely walked away and said that she would not remake the order without chicken and cheese and tossed the cold and poorly made meal in my hands. Then I asked her if she realizes that she was arguing with the cust. She said "Yes"...smh.... Sad to say that this breakfast costed them $4 or maybe less to create both dishes that was charged at $22.50 and for them to be as disgusting to me when at the end of the day I had to toss the meal out only left a bad taste in my mouth for the future. Thanks alot Chocoatada for the exceptional experience and the fantastic customer service. So if you would like to go to a place that will ruin your morning and the cust. Is never right then by all means head on over for the best morning ever. If not you can find a better place and way to spend your cash. Don't even bother wasting your time. I'm not really sure why people like this place. This is my 4th time trying it over the years. I seem to forget my previous experience as the year passes and return to only be disappointed again....

Upon arriving on a Sunday morning with only half the tables occupied, I stood there waiting for a seat. After several staff walking past me with no acknowledgement, I walked inside and asked if I could seat myself. After sitting at the table for approx 9 mins I finally asked a staff member if I could have a menu. I ordered an omelette with Chicken breast, cheese, spinach, tomatoes and onions. I asked if the cheese could be Feta. She said yes but failed to mention that there would be an upcharge of $1.50 not sure what cheese it comes with because it's not specified. Just "cheese". the potatoes are fried country potatoes not Home fries which I prefer. The one slice of toast was not toasted but warmed which gives it a stale texture. The omelette itself was a handful of frozen spinach, a few pieces of feta and tomatoes and dry skin layer of a red onion, no seasoning or effort. The coffee is weak and been sitting on the burner too long. I had to ask and wait for silverware as well as for cream for my coffee which I guess they only allow 2 per cup. As I write this, I have been waiting for my check to be picked up. I'm walking my check inside. Again, other than it having seating outside, I'm really not sure why people like this place. I'm changing my two star...

DO NOT EAT HERE! The server was very nice, the manager on the other hand was VERY RUDE!!! I came here for the first to have breakfast this morning and ordered eggs benedict and some waffles. Now my eggs benedict came. To the table the sauce was all broken i didnt wanna send it back yet so i took a bit out of it. Omg i almost threw up. It was disgusting i told the server please take it off the bill please. All i took was a small bite. The server said okay no problem. Now she server comes back saying THE MANAGER is not going to take it off the bill. So i ask to speak to the manager. So the MANAGER has the balls to tell me shes not going to take it off the bill. That i should of read the description shes not returing it. I told her Look im a chef That is not a accepteble hollandaise sause it was horrible. She kept agruing with me. And didnt want to take of the bill and she walked away. I not pay for anything that almost made me throw up. Management needs more training on how not to be rude to their customers. She should of just fixed the problem instead of arguing with me saying i should of known what...
