Not sure what happened to this place, but we left completely disappointed. Bottom line: The sushi was not edible. We ordered 1 spicy salmon roll and 1 spicy tuna roll. Both were made with what looked and tasted like the lowest-quality cuts of fish, chopped into odd chunks, rolled haphazardly, and topped with plain sriracha. I’m used to tartare-style, seasoned chopped fish with spicy mayo, wrapped neatly — this was nothing like that. Not sure if the sushi chef was new or just didn’t know what they were doing. The recent photo reviews look delicious, so I have no idea how our meal fell so short. After one piece of each roll, I told the waitress the quality was awful. She offered to bring something else, but I already felt queasy and didn’t want to eat more. We also ordered the Kanisu. The cucumber roll was falling apart, the cucumber was soggy, and it didn’t taste fresh. After a couple of bites, we realized they had forgotten the rice vinegar. When we politely asked for some on the side, the waitress insisted it was already there (“you just can’t see it, it’s at the bottom”), which turned into an awkward back-and-forth before she finally brought some over. The only decent items were the ginger salad and curry — though we asked for medium spice and it came out extremely hot. At that point, we just wanted to finish and leave. I’ve been here before and enjoyed good-quality, elevated rolls, so I was shocked to see sushi that looked like it came from a gas station. And yes, they still charged us for both rolls we sent back after just two bites ($26). Service was subpar, though at least somewhat apologetic. The place was nearly empty, which now makes sense. Maybe I’ll try the pad Thai to go next time — if there is a next time.

This restaurant is located in the Downtown Hollywood district with lots of nice bars, restaurants, and cafes. I found this place on Yelp! The restaurant was spacious and welcoming. We were seated right away. The server came with menus and offered to bring us drinks. The server was either new or just not interested in enhancing our dining experience. She didn't check on us or ask if we were enjoying our food. We had to flag her down to get her attention just to get some spoons. Now that I got the service side out of the way, the food was memorable and bumped the score from 3 stars to 4 stars. Kudos to the kitchen staff for preparing some delicious Thai food. We ordered the deep-fried soft shell crab, $15.95 for our appetizer. The ponzu dipping sauce was a great complement to the crab. My wife got the red curry with chicken $20.95. It was served in a large bowl and steamed jasmine rice on the side. Nice presentation and good depth of flavors. The broth was on the mild side. I ordered the Duck Basil, $34.95, which stole the show. Deep fried duck and sliced into bite-sized pieces. There were fried pieces of Basil on top and some sautéed onions, red peppers. The duck was tender and juicy inside and crispy on the outside. The serving size again was impressive, and you definitely get your money's worth. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner, and it would have been better if the server was more attentive to us. I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a date spot and romantic dinner. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a family with 2 young children, so it got a bit loud. Some fine tuning with the serving staff and this place would score 5 stats. I also got a 10% off discount from Yelp when I checked in.

This is by far the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to. I've been to many many sushi restaurants and I have a few at the top of my list, but this one, the sushi just melts in your mouth. The atmophere was perfect, the music flowed well. Our waitor was attentive and really gave us time to enjoy our meal and not rush us like most restaurants. We started with the gyoza and I told my husband if that was any indication of the rest of the meal, we really picked a good spot. We ordered 4 rolls knowing we planned to take some back to our hotel. We are visiting from the panhandle and here on an anniversary trip to watch the dolphins game tomorrow. We will be back everytime we in town. My husband is a die hard Dolphins fan so we will definitely be back. Geisha, Feugo roll, Big Bang Roll and the Volcano roll.

Wow , the price ... Right . You would think quality for sure , but no not at all . The sushi arrived with fishy smelling tuna , and lots of stuff on it , but no spicy mayo ... Which is the only thing you add to good tuna ... I ordered spicy mayo on the side , as I always do and even though they charged me for it , it tastes like metallic fecal matter . I also ordered spicy basil fried rice and a side of duck sauce ... They added 2$ to the order and didn't add the duck sauce. But that was fine because the rice wasn't spicy and I doubt any basil , it was rice fried in sou sauce , expensive soy sauce fried rice . All in all one of the worst 60$ meals ... Plus the mandatory tip if you want your food delivered within 2hrs . I mean seriously ppl this scam is from bottom to top , good luck getting your money back .... Again one of the most expensive and awful meals I ever had ... Again the food delivered semi-warm to my hotel room was comparable to some bugs my friends and I ate in the woods in middle school on that one field...
