Horrible horrible experience! Came in with my granddaughter and ordered a basket of fries because she was really hungry. The fries came and they obviously had been sitting in the fry basket for a while because they were overcooked, greasy and semi warm. I sent them back a total of four times! The next three baskets that came out after the first one were soggy, limp and greasy so finally I gave up and wanted to leave and I asked the server to please charge me for something so I could tip him and he was very nice about it and kept insisting for me to not leave him a tip on top of not charging me for the meal but I told him I could not do that to please charge me a dollar fifty for something so that I could leave him a tip. He charged me a dollar and I left him a $10 tip because it was no fault of his that the chef or cook or whatever you might want to call the person in the kitchen cooking the food, did such a horrible job and did not care. The server wrapped up my food and as I was leaving I said thank you to the hostess and she never said one word back to me. The manager did not visit my table to see what the problem was and the restaurant was really not that busy so I'm not sure why it was so hard to cook a fresh basket of fries. We went home and opened the food and it was hands down the absolute worst gyro wrap I've ever had in any Greek restaurant anywhere in my lifetime! The fries that came with the gyro were as though maybe the cook stuck them in the microwave as they were completely soft and full of grease and so undercooked that we could not eat them. The gyro meat was horribly salty and there was so much tzatziki sauce on the gyro wrap that we just had to throw the whole thing away! Huge disappointment because I have been to that restaurant once or twice before and it was actually really good. I'm not sure what happened to the Greek joint in Hollywood but me and my family will...

Read moreWent for lunch with my daughter on Valentine’s Day. I recommended My Greek Joint because I had a lovely dinner here with my wife less than a year ago. We sat down and our order was taken within five minutes. The waitress brought our appetizer immediately but no water to drink (she brought it 5 minutes later) which we had requested or the glass of wine which I had ordered (and never got). She never came back to check if we were enjoying our appetizer. Five minutes after we had ordered, a large table sat directly behind us. 30 minutes into waiting for our lunch the large table received their food. At this time the restaurant had 8 tables+the 11-person table and 3 waitresses working. After not seeing our waitress for 20 minutes she tells us the food will be out in a few minutes. Almost 15 minutes later (45 minutes after we ordered) we got our lunch (brought by a different waitress). I had asked for sauce when I placed my order which was never brought. At no point were we asked about our meals (so I didn’t have the opportunity to even ask for my sauce) and we did not hear from our waitress until I asked her to box our food. Besides the food taking a ridiculous amount of time to get it was good. I spent 12 years in the business and know issues arise but at no point was an attempt made to explain the delay, much less even acknowledge our presence or utilize the very basic parts of restaurant service. The service was the worst I’ve had in a very long time. After coming back because of the first experience I will not be coming...
