Wendy's — Restaurant in Hollywood

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at any fast food restaurant and this isn’t the first time with them. I constantly find myself waiting in the drive-through right in front of the speaker yet no one is in front of me and each time I wait 10 minutes or more in front of the speaker. It happened again. I was waiting at least 12 minutes before someone attended to me at the speaker in the drive-through I gave my order and it was a number 2 which is a double baconator meal. When I go to pick up, There was a lady screaming at another young lady. The lady yelling seemed to be either the manager or the lead woman there. Both were employees of the Wendy’s. The same lady that was yelling handed me my food and didn’t even acknowledge me or look at me, which was very rude. I started to drive off when I realized I should check my order. It was a small single bacon cheeseburger, which is definitely not a double baconator. I parked and went inside and I showed the young lady that was getting yelling at and I told her this is the wrong sandwich. I also asked if I could keep that sandwich and get the one I paid for as well because of the inconvenience and the long wait. That same, rude lady (lead) interrupted our conversation, yelled at me and said you can’t keep that sandwich. After her rude and nasty behavior, I asked her for her name. She said it was Nora. she had her back turned to me when she responded and I also asked to see her name tag to verify. She then said she doesn’t have one. I asked a fry cook in the back what her name was, and he didn’t want to give it to me. Nora even yelled at him and said not to give her to me. The fry cooks name was Chris. I told him I would call corporate and they both said they didn’t care. Nasty behaved people like them are the reasons why this Wendy’s has such a bad rating and they...

The staff always gets my order on the drive through correct, they often give off a much better energy to where you feel welcome to ask tor extra things like extra sauce or a cup of water. The food quality here in terms of fast food is always far up in comparison to other food places. Their spicy nuggets are beyond satisfactory. The classic Wendy's chillies and their baked potatoes are always a treat, I always get a good amount of crackers when I ask it in order too. their chocolate chunk cookies are the best major fast food chocolate chunk cookies I've ever had from most places, especially for the the price of $5 for 5 large sized chocolate chunk cookies. It's hard to beat wendys in this regard. Especially the spicy niggets, the quality and number of spicy flavors for these nuggets. They easily outdo any spicy nuggets served by let's say burger king or McDonald's. The inside is large, clean and welcoming, very much reminding of times I went on vacation to other states in spades of long distance driving. I am writing to report a very upsetting experience I had at 4600 S State Rd, Fort Lauderdale on September 26,2025.

After receiving my order through the drive-thru, I realized my Cinnabon Pull-Apart was missing and the rest of my food was cold. I drove back and politely asked the staff to remake the food and provide the missing item. The manager on duty, who refused to give his name, became aggressive and told me that the food was hot when I got it and I should have eaten it immediately. He refused both a remake and a refund.

Another manager called someone above them, explained the situation, and was advised to refund me. After hearing this, the male manager became visibly angry. He struck the other manager on the arm, yelled at me to “GIVE ME THE FOOD BACK,” and tried to snatch the bag from my hand. I told him he would not snatch it, and instead asked the female manager to take the bag. She did, and I was given only $10 in cash even though my total was $14.42, so I was not fully refunded.
