Drawn by the "home made baked beans" sign my boyfriend and I walked in for dinner time. No one else was in line. 3 chili dogs, pulled pork, mac and cheese, and baked beans, With 2 large milkshakes and chili fries. The server was nice, she got our order out promptly. However, not happy with the consistency of the milkshake and the food orders, especially the price 40 dollars. It was very watery almost like a kindergarten made our milkshake and our cups were not filled all the way, it was about halfway. Its very upsetting to pay for drinks that are not filled all the way. Also, the chili dogs were soggy, the bun was not toasted. The hot dogs were sitting out for hours under a light. Also, the baked beans were NOT homemade. I dislike business that lie. It is astonishing that this place has been voted the best valley advocate since 2008. If the place is dusty and dirty in the front, I can only imagine how dirty it is in the back. That place needs a health inspection. I hope I don't get...

I came here with my mom my sister and her 2 kids. I ordered a hot dog and it was soo good. I also ordered a chocolate milk shake and that was very good as well. This place has a small parking lot on the side it also has on street parking as well. This place also now sells ice cream. Inside they have small juke boxes on the tables. Back then when I came here they use to give you a nickel to play the small old fashion juke box. But I don't know if they still do that today. This place is a very popular restaurant in holyoke mass. It has been there since I was like 2 years old. That was back in 1985. Back then they would put molasses on there hot dogs and I think they still do to this day. But that is what makes the hot dogs so good and popular. They got new owners. The staff here are nice and friendly as well. The floors are clean and tables, chairs are also clean. I really recommend people to come here when they come to...

Nick's Nest is one of Holyoke's biggest attractions. It is known to have the best hot dog in Massachusetts, and although I would agree, It is just a store bought hot dog that rotates in oil all day. Many people can agree though, it is still a really good hot dog. They have a variety of ice cream that can most certainly please anyone. Although, I had the misfortune of trying their ice cream sandwich recently and I was not in the slightest happy with what I tried. It tasted like freezer burn and plain cheap vanilla ice cream. The employees are friendly and kind but you can also feel like they hate their job and wish the day was over. I suppose that would be the case for many working people. I just believe it should be less present when working. In conclusion, Nick's Nest is loved my many and I too enjoy making my stops there. It is the perfect place to go with your friends on a...

Love a great, local hot dog shop. Not bad, not great. As with all things MA, about 30 percent more expensive than it should be. Relative I guess. Hot dogs were fine. Buns a little dry and the condiments didn’t help. My onion rings were not good at all. That cheap, flash frozen, minced onion type. Tasted like onion jelly rings. My soda, seriously too much ice, three sips and it was gone. Place is small and I should have eaten in my car. They literally just slide hot dogs to you on a napkin on the counter. Right at snot level where the kids are drooling. Group of kids and parents came in while I was eating and they were wildly obnoxious. Parents and kids. I do understand the Masshole reference since I have moved here. No respect for anyone other than themselves.

I recently visited Nick’s Nest in Holyoke and had an awesome experience. I tried two hot dogs—one chili cheese dog and a loaded potato dog—along with their deep fried pickles. The food was delicious, and the whole place had a great, welcoming energy. The hot dogs were perfectly prepared, with generous toppings that hit the spot. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for tasty, casual eats!

Very wholesome old fashioned hot dog place. Good topping options and lots of sides to choose from. Lots of combos as well. The buns are very soft and don't hold up too well but the hot dog was a classic (with onions mustard & sauerkraut!) The clam chowder was good, perfect for a cool night but the baked beans were super dry and there was no flavor. Loved the experience but probably would choose another place for a quick bite. Thanks!
