We have been going to this location for 10 years, way back when the place looked like your local friendly pizzeria, everyone knew you by name and what your usual was. Forward to many years, they had the fire and decided to come back and elevate the entire experience, they renovated and updated, place looks totally different, in a very good way, it is now an Italian restaurant, no longer a pizzeria, which is great. Last Saturday I decided to try one of their new dishes, Alfredo made in the cheese bowl with fresh truffle (I'm a sucker for truffle), my husband and boys got an XL pizza, the pasta comes with garlic rolls and a soup. The rolls and soup came out, lobster bisque was delicious and the rolls the usual goodness, a few minutes later the pizza came out. I kept looking at the gentleman making the pasta because it was outside in the middle of the restaurant and at some point he was helping with the tables, turning on the candles, etc, but I was patient. Fast forward 45 minutes, pizza gone and no sign of my pasta, what I thought was mine ended up being for another table that had arrived after us. I called our waitress and requested to cancel the pasta since it had been a long time, she disappeared, owner comes to my table 5 minutes later to "explain" their pasta is made fresh and that's why it was taking so long, continued to also explain how "this is not your regular pizza parlor", at no point did she apologize for the wait, her tone was demeaning, I told her if a dish takes longer than 15-30 minutes they should let the customer know, no one ever told me that otherwise I wouldn't have ordered that. When we got the bill I noticed she removed the pasta but charged us $11 for the small bowl of soup that came with the pasta. Again, this was the owner, not a manager or waitress, I would have expected a decent customer service instead of an "attack" as to how a "fine Italian restaurant" works. To the owner, I am sure losing one customer means nothing to you, but I hope you treat others with at least some respect, what you did was distasteful and shows the type of petty and sad person you are. *I did this review before realizing my husband had left one already and saw the owner's response, WOW! Your food has always been delicious and still is, no question on that. You claim time was 40 minutes, it was not, it was 42 minutes after order was placed, not from the time we sat. Indeed it was very busy as you mentioned, great for your business. Order was placed at 7:16pm and at 7:45pm when I clearly saw the gentleman was not making my pasta as he was just standing there not doing anything I requested to my waitress to please cancel it, again, he was not making it, we could all clearly see that. Then you showed up at the table and that's when right behind you he started making the pasta, again, at that point it had been over 45 minutes, and request to cancel it, was before the pasta went to the guy to make. You don't have to write how you try to accommodate the food, again, we have been going for 10 years and always ordered family meal and Bolognese. You explained the circumstance no, you pushed down our throat that fresh pasta takes longer, if you would have apologized and explained busy it would have been different, but your tone was condescending and you were the one ma'am that used the words "this is not your normal pizza parlor" as a derogatory comment, not us, please don't twist the story any more. That's why my husband wrote about high-end restaurant, because your choice of words came across as "you don't know fine dining and this is not your normal pizzeria". You are absolutely correct, pizzerias deserve respect and we have always treated everyone that way, you however did not. Again, I did not refuse my entre and the request to cancel was made to our waitress before the pasta was made, if I decided to cancel because it took over 45minutes and not once anyone went to our table o at least apologize and explain the circumstance I do not call that "entitlement" like you said, I call that...
Read moreToday I stepped inside this establishment because it was right next to my job and I felt like eating some pasta. I told the hostess that it was just be me alone dining and she showed me my table. I asked her to please point where the bathroom was as I needed to wash my hands. When I came back I sat down at my table which she left me the menu for me to read. As time went by I just watched several waitress walk on by me like I wasn't there. I waited like 12 to 15 mins sitting at the table waiting for someone to acknowledge me so I can order my food. I would have understand if the place was busy but as you can clearly see in the picture it wasn't. Since no one wanted to get my order I just got up and went to the hostess and asked who was my waitress that hasn't showed up at my table. She told me her name was Andrea. I then told her not to bother calling her because I was leaving. I've been waiting for some time now and no one has passed by. The hostess just smirked at me like she didn't care what I was saying. There was another waitress next to her and she apologized for what happened to me. I told her, it's a shame and I will write a review on how this restaurant treats their customers. I read other people's reviews on GOOGLE, YELP, and on TRIPADVISOR, on how this place lacks on customer service. Owners dont rectify the problem instead they respond rude. So that explains everything I needed to know...

We were then seated by young lady that seem to be very nice and professional she tried her best to help us and accommodate us I want to say the pizza the garlic bread and the salads were good. Here comes a nightmare we all ordered pasta All three of us sent it back because it was not fully cooked I even choked on my pasta we then ask for the manager and told the waiter that her surface was awesome she called the for a monitor and end up being the owner The gentleman told me that this was a pizza place and not a pasta place then his wife came out we thought she would be more helpful but she was worse he sent and even worse customer service representative she said us American like pasta like glue and that that's not the way they cook pasta and she continued to talk about American yet her business is an America and did absolutely nothing didn't refund us our money or took it out the menu or even try to recook it they left in the back and never came out to the front I'm a business owner and I run a business on Google with five stars so my clients come first I don't recommend this business for anybody and they need to learn how to treat us American that are are giving them business Hope they can learn from this experience and this review if not good luck...
