I walked into the restaurant, there was a customer standing at the counter, all of a sudden he turned, used the "f word" and said: "These people are doing that again", "They're just standing around talking" and he walked out.
I observed three of the employees gathered together talking and laughing near the drive-thru area. I had to wait for someone to take my order. A woman walked up and did not greet me professionally, I gave her my order and then she handed me a receipt and walked away. I stood in the store for about 10 minutes waiting and when no one gave me my order I walked up to the order pickup area and after standing there for about 5 minutes a woman walked up to the counter where I was And just stood there holding her face forward and smiling like she was expecting me to say something. After she shook her head three or four times while smiling and not saying anything I said what do you want to know? She said: "Would you like to place a order"? I said: "I already did". She said "Where"? I pointed to the cash register and I said: "Over there". She said: "Who took the order"? and I did not see the person and I said: "A larger girl, slightly tall". Without saying anything she turned around and walked towards the order ticket area where they put the receipts and looked at my receipt which was the only one there and had been there for a while and then she began to very slowly prepare my food.
What I received is two orders of chicken fries yet I had only asked for one I also received burnt onion rings. When I got outside I noticed that I was charged for two orders of chicken fries even though I ordered one I also noticed even though I asked for barbecue sauce I received the most spicy one they offer.
There were maintenance people working on doors and walls in the business using a material that had a very strong and very offensive odor.
I now feel that this interaction was racially motivated as well as the one I observed with the first customer. This business needs a lot of help. May God...

Read moreDear Burger King Support,
I’m writing to share a very disappointing experience I had after placing an online order at one of your locations.
I arrived at the store 12 minutes after placing my order, expecting it to be ready or nearly ready. Instead, I was told it wasn’t prepared yet and had to wait another 30 minutes. When I finally received the food, it wasn’t hot—just barely warm—which was frustrating, especially given the wait. I assumed the delay was due to the food being freshly prepared, but that clearly wasn’t the case.
To make matters worse, I noticed that the pickles I paid extra for ($0.10) were missing from my chicken sandwich. When I asked for a refund, the employee at the window yelled at me and claimed she didn’t know how to process one. Instead of seeking help or contacting a manager, she slammed the window in my face. This behavior is completely unacceptable.
I work in customer service myself, and I know how important it is to treat customers with respect, even when things go wrong. Fortunately, I was eventually able to speak with a manager who apologized and assured me she would address the issue. I gave her my name and number for follow-up.
However, not long after returning to work, I received a call from another manager identifying herself as the GM. She asked me what had happened—something I had already clearly explained in person. It felt like the left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing.
Overall, the experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and a waste of my lunch break. Burger King needs to do a better job hiring and training staff—especially when it comes to handling customer concerns and maintaining basic...
