Pastry Art Bake Shoppe — Restaurant in Homewood

This is one of those places where the more you go, the better you like it! I think they put "Spy Crumbs" on the very first Baby Bite that you purchase. The "Spy Crumbs" jump off into your car's interior at the first opportunity, BEFORE you can eat them.

They hide down betwixt the seats, or maybe even under the seats, they crawl way down under the floor mats, some even jump straight into the ashtray! But they're there, somewhere inside your car, they throw out their anchors so that no vacuum cleaner on the world can budge them! Them they raise their antenna until it connects with your vehicles electrical system, they connect through your stereo system, amplifiers, mega bass, blue tooth AND Wifi too. They connect! Their tiny little "Spy Crumb" signal jumps from car to car, car to any bluetooth device that will carry your likes, your preferences, your thoughts and dreams of Baby Bite desires, straight to the magical ovens of Pastry Arts Bakery!

And they next time you pull into the parking lot at Pastry Arts Bakery, those sweet little "Spy Crumbs" send out the order before your feet even hit the white striped bitumen so that it's sitting there, waiting on you, your palate, and... your dreams...

Let me start by saying I love Baby Bites and get them all the time. I just tried to order 6, just 6, for a Birthday Party tonight from the Homewood location. The lady who took my order aksed what time would I be there to pick them up, I said 5. I know they close at 5, but I work also. She rudely told me, they close at 5 and I said ok, how about 4.55?

After I placed my order for 6, she asked for my name & phone #. After giving my name before I could give my phone #, she insisted on my credit card. I explained, I am in my office and don't have my credit card available. She stopped me right there. I asked let me give you my phone #....she said we don't need it, just your card. Without your credit card we will not hold these. So I asked, do you think you will have some left by the end of the day....and was quickly told "I don't know.. We might". What a rude way to treat a customer. Guess what Pastry Art, you are not the only place in town who makes "baby" cupcakes. We are done. Customer service for an order of 6...

The staff is friendly and everything is pretty straight forward. You see delicious stuff, you buy delicious stuff, you eat delicious stuff. I, like most of us love cake and have had some really good stuff, some not so good stuff and a little of in between. These cake bites are TO DIE 4!! And yes I am a straight man. OMG these things are off the scale delicious! On a scale of one to ten these are a twenty! The fact that you can pop one in your mouth and get the perfect cake to frosting to ratio is Da BomB! If your not hooked your a zombie and just don't know it. The only kick to the entire process is the interior decor could use some updating (Yes I'm sure I am straight!) But hey it's delicious stuff so wbo...
