Jennings Jewelers — Local services in Honesdale

It's been since I was a little girl that I was in Jennings Jewelers, And to my surprise there was Mr. Jennings Senior still working there! He is 88 years old now and still gets up and goes to work! And he looks great! Such old school customer service when you go to Jennings, I came in with a bunch of cheap watches that I needed battery's and links taken out, And they had no problem doing that for me with old school hospitality! I write this because I went to a Jewelry store in Dickson city that was closer to my home because I found a antique watch I wanted to give my partner and I needed a battery and another band for the watch, when I was in that store the owner just had no customer service acting like what I was asking him to do for me was such a huge deal! While I was standing there right in front of me, he was on the phone and said Ya we are busy but not making any money! Meaning my $10 job of putting a battery in my watch! And there was so many other rude comments said while I was there and when I was talking about something just completely ignored me and started talking to someone else! I did buy a cheap watch from the same place because the old watch did not work and even though I did purchase something I guess still that was nothing because it was a cheap watch! I said I will never go back there again! So to me Jennings has that old school customer service that treats you no matter what the job or purchase is like a valued customer and really knows what they are doing!! Old school customer service is so lacking in today's times everywhere I go! That I truly enjoyed my visit there and also to see Senior Mr. Jennings! And I bought the most beautiful antique bracelet that I ever seen there, and now I will never go anywhere else and drive further from my home to go there, well worth it! Mr. Jennings I hope I am like you when I am 88...

It’s an understatement to say that Jennings is the best jewelry store in town… but it really is.

Almost every piece of jewelry my wife owns has come from this amazing store.

Every experience I’ve ever had has been top notch, but this last experience takes the cake.

For Christmas, I wanted to get my wife a mother’s ring… but there was one problem. My youngest was due to arrive December 19th.

Call me superstitious, but I couldn’t order a mother’s ring until he was officially here.

I found something similar to what I wanted online and I went to the store to see what they had that was similar.

They have a great selection and if they don’t have something in-store (like in my case) they have even more choices that they can order in.

My son arrived December 17th.

I placed the order December 18th, hoping it would be done by Christmas.

In just 3 days, the most beautiful mother’s ring was done and gift wrapped under our tree (figure of speech… the wife can be a little nosy around the holiday :)… more like gift wrapped in the back of my sock drawer )

I can’t say enough about the team at Jennings. Top notch customer service every step of the way. They even answered my questions via text to help with anonymity because my wife is “inspector gadget” come the holiday season.

If they don’t have it in store, they can order it in, or even (since they are a REAL jeweler) make it for you (like my wife’s engagement ring)!

I do not have enough positive words to say about my experience with Jennings Jewelers. They truly care about each and every customer as an individual. I recently went to pick out my wedding band. My fiancé bought my engagement ring from Jennings Jewelers in November. Chrissy and Bobby were very helpful and considerate throughout the entire process. They are very passionate about their business and that shows in the incredible work they do. They made me feel so comfortable and not pressured. They took the time to educate me about rings/diamonds and seemed to care as much as I did about helping me find the right ring.
