America's Diner — Restaurant in Honolulu

So, you show up to go to a restaurant called 'Americas Diner' , but you are actually in a DENNY'S. It is quite unbelievable. DENNY'S has a separate marketing page, but this is a DENNY'S. We walked a couple of miles to go to a local Waikiki diner, but this deceitful posting is a bait and switch. If you won't go to the DENNY'S in your hometown, don't go here on your vacation. I had the Styrofoam eggs with plastic bacon, and coffee that tasted like it was filtered through my baseball cap.

If you love DENNY'S, there is also a McDonald's right nearby, but that is listed as the 'Royal Hawaiian Steak and Bun House of Waikiki'. Really upscale and locally-sourced. Going there for lunch.

I have patronized this location since it's remodel & reopening. High cost of eating out is tamed a bit here at Denny's America's Diner. Comfort food is the key element here. The staff are friendly and upbeat and show great concern for your dining experience. The menu changes from time to time but the Breakfast slams have added additional slam options to satisfy ALL. NO Adult beverages are available but if you have a sweet tooth they have a dessert menu to satisfy...

The food is a low quality and not healthy. They have only pork sausages. Hence, we ordered nachos with beef and a steak. Unfortunately, nachos didn't have ground beef, but only melted cheese. Steak was absolutely raw, not medium rare at all, and my son couldn't eat it. French crepes weren't delicious, I don't recommend this place. Plates are big, but not delicious.
