Please do not visit. The coffee straight up sucks. You might think this place has either good coffee or at least good customer service. It has neither. I have rarely seen a place with no redeeming quality. The coffee was soooooooo horrible. Believe me when I say horrible. I ordered a Honey Nut Latte. They gave me hot water with some milk in it with some weird looking powder on it. I had a couple of sips and had to just put it away. Uggggghhh. AC doesn’t work either for some reason. The Baristas also just have a tiny fan behind the counter. I wonder how they are still in business.

2017 December 20 Wednesday Honolulu 12:38 (GMT -10:00) This is a wonderful place with Free Parking and Free Wi-Fi in a GREAT location near McKinley High School and the Blaisdell Arena. I especially appreciate the Homemade Almond Milk in the coffee. The only possible complaint I would have is that a killer, broke-da-mouf gluten-free brownie was served on waxed paper in a metal wicker basket. This was very inconvenient because the tines of the metal fork (bonus points for eco-consciousness) kept piercing the waxed paper and getting hung up in the open frame of the basket.

I ordered an avocado toast and a smoothie, but the avocado toast was completely soaked in vinegar. She poured way too much vinegar on the toast. The bread had absorbed the balsamic vinegar and was black and inedible — so disappointing. My avocado toast was clearly made wrong compared to the photos of their previous ones. I felt like it was done on purpose. I used to enjoy their coffee, which is actually quite good, so I decided to try their sandwiches for lunch — but I don’t think I’ll be ordering their sandwiches again.

On Friday I ordered a 3-day renew cleanse that was ready on Monday. Since I live an hour in the country, I called to ask when my juices would be ready. The cafe said they’d call me when ready and did. I drove in and only two days were ready. I agreed to come back Tuesday, today, to pick up the last day cleanse that would have been ready and waiting yesterday (Monday) afternoon. It would be held for me. I drove back in. Two more hours.

It was not ready and I was blamed for that - they said I could drive to another place to pick it up 5 minutes away, but they wouldn’t do it for me and bring it to the cafe where I was.

I was told that I had agreed to pick it up tomorrow, not today and that’s simply a scolding, finger pointing and untrue. I asked for a refund for the last day instead as this was becoming too much of a hassle. I could hear the server complaining to Andrew her boss about me as though all of it was my fault and I’m being uncooperative.

The servers apparently can take your money in advance and on the spot but can’t do a valid refund in the same way. A 3-day cleanse is $144. Not insubstantial. Then Andrew the manager just called me and said he’d make an exception this one time and give me a refund for the cleanse they did not have ready at the pick up point. However, it’s a lot of trouble and he won’t get to it till Friday.

What do you think of this service...

Somebody give me $900K+ quick so I can buy a place in the Pacifica building! I want to live there so I can go downstairs and go to Blue Tree cafe every day.

Parking is free in the Pacifica building and they do validate. The bathroom is clean and they share it with Doraku. They have wi-fi, super friendly customer service, vegan eats and the best and I mean THE BEST thing is their homemade almond milk. The almond milk is so refreshing and yummy by itself but also makes your coffee even better.

They have the usual selection of coffee drinks. They also have tea, cold pressed juices, kombucha and smoothies to choose from if you don't feel like coffee, all made in house. There's also vegan grab and go items and sweets. I had a chocolate chip vegan cookie...went perfectly with the almond milk. You can also do a juice cleanse with them if you're interested.

The prices are more on the high side but worth the extra money.

Love the quaint decor that makes you feel comfortable to hang out and spend some time here unlike Starbucks which is way louder.

I watched a movie on my Ipad and had a nice relaxing few hours here. Just like I read in Emi's review, this is totally the Central Perk of Honolulu, minus no Gunther!

Go blue tree cafe lots of different drinks to choose super cute...

Terrible customer service. I came in during a very dead time. There was no one in line and barely anyone sitting in the cafe. The girl at the register could not answer any questions about the ingredients in the smoothies and was entirely unhelpful. After taking my order she proceeded to do her makeup in the reflection of the espresso machine and left one girl to make all drinks by herself which took about 20 minutes (again there were no other drinks being made and no one was waiting for other drinks) … while waiting a male employee came out of the back with a friend and walked around the counter and started making free drinks for him and his friend and it didn’t even look like he was on the clock… it was a weird vibe.. very unprofessional and not sanitary. They didn’t really follow any sort of food safety laws. This place wasn’t like this a year or so ago so I’m not sure If it’s just the current staff or what. Just be mindful of that...
