$50 for 2 sandwiches ( half the size of a subway sandwich) and 1 waffle fries with absolutely no napkins ($44 and some change plus $5 tip).
My sandwich had so much juices coming out of it the bread wouldn’t stay together like a sandwich normally does and it got all over everything, started to break apart and leak everywhere as soon as I unwrapped it. Which I understand some sandwiches can be juicy but that was way to juicy and honestly a bit careless. I tried to look in the bag for napkins and there’s absolutely 0 of them for me to use to clean up the mess. You just put together a sandwich that was extremely juicy and somehow you don’t think napkins are important or needed? That’s wild.
How convenient when you’re driving down the road trying to enjoy your first time at earls and your sandwich starts leaking over everything in your car and there’s no napkins at all. By the time I got to my destination, the paper they used to wrap the sandwich in was so soaked that it stuck to the bread of the sandwich and that was enough for me to toss it away and end my earls experience, without finishing it.
This was the first and last experience for me, I had very high hopes for this place but I won’t be returning here, this was a lesson learned. The girl at the register was nice but that’s not enough especially when you drove over 20 miles just to try it out and it turns out to be a waste of money,...
Read more5/2023: Good sandwiches. I got the Cubano and my friend got the French Dip. Both were very good and were stuffed with meat. However, the sandwiches were a bit small for the price.
8/2023: Came back even though my first experience here was average thanks to the high price of their food. This time my friend got the Chicken Po’ Boy. Not wanting to spend nearly $20 on a sub sandwich again, I got the Creamy Garlic Chicken Sandwich. Obviously their chicken sandwiches are smaller than their subs, but it was still filling. The garlic sauce had kind of a weird taste. I liked the bites of my sandwich that didn’t have as much sauce. The bun and chicken were good though. Better than the Po’ Boy at any rate. For some reason, that one had much tougher chicken.
Still won’t be planning on making this a regular stop since it’s so expensive.
@Christopher Ferko it seems that there’s always one of your kind in the reviews for a restaurant that serves Philly Cheesesteaks. I don’t get why you guys haven’t learned your lesson by now. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: as a Hawaii local, I would never buy a poke bowl outside of Hawaii. A regional specialty will never be as good outside of its home region, especially to somebody from said region....
Read moreThis is a fantastic sandwich spot! Tucked in a lot between other businesses, E.A.R.L is a small shop with big flavor and great customer service.
I thought about ordering the refreshing caprese sando but then chose the beef brisket sandwich with stout jus instead. This was packed with flavor and although it SEEMED small, I had to enjoy for lunch and dinner. The bread was on point and all the veggies tasted fresh. The beef brisket was tender and made with love. The jus really elevated the favor.
My partner ordered the Turkey sando and it came with a really delicious bacon jam. The turkey had mayo mixed in and was like a turkey salad. She also had to eat her sando in two parts.
An added bonus was adding a few $ for chips and the fresh raspberry lemonade and passionfruit lemonade.
Cashier and cooks were very friendly and even helped pack away the left over food to go.
