HI ONE SUSHI had a banner on the corner of Kapiolani Boulevard and Ward Avenue advertising half off rolls on Wednesdays so I brought the whole gang for a wonderful half off-roll Sushi and BYOB event! We arrived early and it was a short wait for our rolls even though we were a party of nine people. However, by the time we left there was a line out the door mostly for takeout orders. When I went to pay, a couple was coming in and they were told that it was an hour wait around 6:00 p.m. so try and go early or phone in your order before coming to the restaurant.
There's a fair amount of free parking in the building, the entrance being from Kapiolani Boulevard. A huge attraction is that the restaurant is byob. We had an awesome time!...

I had the Salmon Donburi (poke bowl) with the Miso soup (about 1/2 cup). For those of you who like the aesthetics of a meal, it was prepared in a delightful and beautiful manner.
