Read moreDisappointing experience. We were excited to try Kpop donuts after passing it by several times while out for activities. As we entered we were blasted with static ridden music from a stereo in the front room - ironically not K-Pop... The music was so loud, the staff could not hear each other or the orders they were taking. The store was out of smoothie supplies and multiple flavors of donuts filling at 7 in the morning. The sample cinnamon twist was passable, and we ordered a couple of "O" donuts. We watched as the staff of three struggled to fill the orders of the 3 people ahead of us, the production person was bringing out "O" donuts one at a time. The cashier who was also handing out the product was confused constantly by the the other 2 staff members, and the person filling orders was trying to read tickets rather than listening for customer orders. While we were there, the average order was 2-3 donuts, and the wait time was about 5 minutes with the donuts already prepared in baskets in front of them. I would hate to see what ordering a dozen would look like. The donuts themselves were undercooked and chewy. My wife didn't even finish hers. Definitely not worth the $3.50 price tag per donut. We chalked this one up as a loss. If you are looking for decent donuts in waikiki,...
Read moreThe place smells horrible, the person behind the counter doesn’t know English, the food is unhealthy oily and sweet. My daughter badly wanted poi donuts and I couldn’t drive at that moment. When I check Google this was the place that came up and it seemed to have good reviews. I took her there and she asked for poi donuts but they didn’t have any. Then we just thought of going with any donut they had. They looked small in size so I asked if they are bought by a dozen or half a dozen, the man said generally half a dozen. So, I decided to buy half a dozen. He charged me a hefty $31.50 for that much!!!! I was dumbstruck, but just made the payment since I had already purchased it. We came home and had them and they were horrible to taste. The Kamehameha bakery donuts cost only $1.50 each and they taste amazing. I’m never going back to kpop again. If he has morales then he’ll...
