Good lord don’t go here. They’re horribly understaffed (we saw them turn people away because they were understaffed, then 5 minutes later they let a few big groups in. Made no sense). We couldn’t sit outside because there was no one to clear the dishes from the many empty tables (according to them), and so we were seated inside. The restaurant was maybe 1/5 full, with about 6 tables other than us.
It took 20 minutes for someone to come to the table and another half hour until coffee came. I went to get our own water from the jugs on the counter I saw earlier, but they were gone by then. We passed time watching a small brown bird hopping around inside and occasionally flying around the restaurant.
There was a sandwich board outside the restaurant advertising the breakfast dishes, and when I inquired about the eggs Benedict that wasn’t on the menu, the waitress informed me the sandwich board was for another place. There is no other place right where they are (especially another Korean place that also does American breakfast foods, which the sandwich board advertised).
Food came half an eternity later, with no utensils. Took 5 minutes to get utensils. Asked for hot sauce and ketchup, the hot sauce was tasty and came in a bottle. The ketchup came in two alarmingly puffy packets that were about to burst from whatever rot or botulism was growing inside.
The hash browns were cold and rubbery, and had clearly been microwaved, not fried on a griddle. The plain omelette with fried rice was decent! So was the kalbi.
Waitstaff was clearly out of their depth, but not at all in a hurry. There was this admirable insouciance in their strolling around the restaurant while people fainted from hunger at the tables. My favorite was the older lady who wandered about with empty hands until I once saw her carry a basket with a piece of toast out of the kitchen. She was chewing on something, hopefully not the other piece of toast.
Anyway, we’re convinced this is a front for something else, or one of those terrible hidden camera shows where they were waiting for people to lose it. Enter at...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting a delightful breakfast spot that left a lasting impression on my taste buds and dining experience. From the moment I stepped into the establishment, I was greeted with warm hospitality and attentive service that set the tone for a memorable breakfast.
At the heart of this culinary experience were the marvelous cheesy hashbrowns and egg omelets. The perfectly cooked hashbrowns boasted a delightful golden crust, giving way to a fluffy interior that was expertly seasoned. Each bite showcased the harmonious marriage of crispiness and tenderness, complemented by a generous serving of expertly melted cheese.
The egg omelets, generously loaded with ham and cheese, were a testament to the craftsmanship of the culinary team. The eggs were flawlessly cooked, resulting in a light and fluffy texture that paired beautifully with the savory notes of the ham and the creamy richness of the cheese. It was a symphony of flavors that left me thoroughly satisfied.
Beyond the exceptional dishes, the service provided at this establishment was truly commendable. The staff exhibited professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care for the guests. Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE I asked for a mimosa and the waiter asked for my ID , I faced my parter to ask for my ID since he was carrying it for me when the waiter rudely told me not his YOURS. We ordered a mimosa and a waffle. He comes back with the wrong waffle and makes it seem like he’s doing us a favor for not charging us for something he got wrong. The only time that he came by our table was after a busser had already came to pick up our plates & brought the check.
The waiter ONLY CAME TO CIRCLE THE GRATUITY of %18 or % 15. The service did Not Merit a tip so we did not tip. The waiter FOLLOWED US OUT TO TELL US we didn’t tip! HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE WHILE DOING SO. This is when I become upset and asked if it was mandatory to which he replied AGAIN VERY RUDE THAT I CAN GO ANYWHERE AND HE LIVES OFF TIPS.
I Proceeded to tell him he doesn’t live off tips he lives off of his employer, if I am able to travel it’s because my partner I and worked hard to do so. I tip EVERYWHERE But I am not tipping for Rude, Disrespectful service.
I see that reviews are replied to so please reply to mine by answering why your waiter followed us out to demand a tip with such hostility & why is this allowed ?
Thank you for your response and taking into...
