Excellent, intense, brief fireworks! The hotel says it is at 7:45 but that is only the suggested time that you get there. The viewing location near the cantina gets full of beach blankets, so that is right. The prime viewing is along the orange cones blocking off the end of the Rainbow Tower, which prevents inconsiderate oafs from standing when the show starts and blocking your photo-taking. . The fireworks are lit from the coned area, so you are quite close. That means a great show, but it also means it is loud and you feel the concussion when the rockets launch and explode. It's like the subwoofer you wish you could afford! It could also frighten children, so please consider that. . The show lasted 4 minutes in our experience, beginning at 8:06. That was plenty of time to enjoy the excellent variety of shells and effects. The whole of the experience is wonderful and a must-do if you stay at the village. . Be aware that when it is over, the crowd jams the departure routes. Be patient, and make your way over to the WikiWiki store for shave ice. That's an exclamation point on...

Cool tradition every Friday night! It's VERY popular - there are people who set up and camp out all afternoon to see the fireworks, and enjoy the beaches while they're waiting. The show itself is pretty short, but you are right next to the fireworks, which is pretty cool.

They clear out the docks/rocks area, and the side of the small beach in front of the Hilton that's between the two beaches, because the fireworks are set off from the beach (basically right where the Google maps pin is located) and they do vacate the area about 30 min before the fireworks start.

The beach is a great viewing spot, though crowded. The turf area is also nice, but you need to set up a little early to get a prime spot. Definitely worth seeing if you happen to be in the area, but very short if you're driving out especially to see it unless you just really like fireworks or want to see them...

We watched the weekly Friday fireworks from the beach. Seeing them up close was breathtaking, as it felt like the fireworks were raining down on us. The last 30 seconds were spectacular with a continuous barrage of fireworks. 🎇 05/03/2024 Since there was another chance to watch tonight, I enjoyed the fireworks at the water's edge. It was only five minutes, but it was truly moving. Grateful for the weekly tradition.🙏✨ 05/11/2024 Today was our last Friday, but we completely forgot about the fireworks and ended up back in our room. Luckily, my husband reminded me that we could see them perfectly from the veranda, so we caught them just in time. It was lucky to have seen them at just the right...
