First, the good part was that the food was really good! We really enjoyed our sandwiches and smoothie and thought the price was really fair for the quality they provided. However... The service is not good. This was our second time visiting and also our second time getting the wrong order. The first time, we ordered take out and didn't want to go back to get the correct order. This time, it took a long time to make (our sandwiches) so we were hungry and didn't want to wait for the correct order, and when we asked about the status of our order being made, they seemed annoyed we'd even ask and made up a lame excuse for why it wasn't ready yet. Our friends were with us and they also received the wrong order, but felt the same about correcting the order, except we could clearly see their order sitting on the kitchen counter for a while so we knew it was actually ready, which made the staff's rude response even more irritating. We saw they were cleaning up and asked if they wanted us to leave, which they felt no need to be polite in telling us we had to go. We could only think that if only our order hadn't taken so long, then maybe we would have been finished already.

Even though the food was really good, we probably won't go back simply because it wasn't a welcoming place. Just a friendlier staff...

FRESH couldn't describe it better. You can seriously taste the freshness and quality of their ingredients. My family's personal favorite is the Turkey Pesto Sandwich! It's a perfect combination of turkey and pesto. They really do not skimp on the turkey, as well. In fact - they give a heaping serving of turkey. On top of that (literally) the croissant bread they use is so buttery and flakey - its really perfection in a sandwich. While it may look small - don't be deceived! They pack it on. That's true Aloha right there. Also, I've gotten the Portobello Mushroom sandwich which is my second favorite. "Yuck! Mushrooms!" is what one might say but noooo - you must try their Portobello Sandwich. It has a seriously beautiful marinade used within the sandwich that just makes it so tasty and refreshing. They use ciabatta bread, I think and its very appropriate. It is pretty satisfying but may not be quite as filling as the Turkey...for obvious reasons.

The Turkey Pesto sandwich is about $10 - which is well worth it. The Portobello Mushroom sandwich is $11-12 (sorry I forgot-something like that). A little higher in price but still very satisfying!!

Prices are around $10-15 for their menu items. Please do yourself a favor and support a true gem in Kakaako (amongst all the other...

Food was amazing which is why I’m giving it 4 stars. Only issue is that girls lack customer service, by alot. No “Welcome in” , had a line at the door and instead of saying “Ill be right with you” , they just ignored and continued what they were doing until they were ready to talk. Unacceptable. Girls in the back were talking so loud that I could hear their conversation about sexual activities they had done in the past. So loud and clear that I could probably recite word for word what they said. Others around me even made a face. Nalu, this seems like a fun place to work for college students but there needs to be some boundaries & customer service training. It does not look good on your company & felt very uncomfortable after eating inside while hearing the girls in the back loudly talking about people they F’d! I am a manager and strongly advise you teach those girls some customer service , the company is amazing itself but the people who represent it aren’t doing a good job! People dont care about just good food, theyre not going to come back to spend their money if they feel unwelcome! Need more smiles, “ Welcome in” , “How is your day going” , “Have a wonderful day sir/ma’am” , “ Ill be right with you to take your order, please give me...

Lovely shop, recently opened in South Shore Market part of Ward. Corner shop near a shockingly clean restroom (yes, millennial moms with toddlers, rejoice! A clean bathroom in a Kaka'ako public space is possible!), this spot features kombucha teas and nitro coffee on tap (again, you know who you are when nitro coffee sings your siren song) and Shaka Tea from the Big Island. Menu is fresh, fast, and yes, you do feel good after eating here. Wraps, juices, and decent vegan offerings. Prices are reasonable for the fare; think more Whole Foods than McD's. Excellent customer service. Clean shop. IG-worthy acai bowls. High chairs available, grab one near the logo t-shirts corner (see pics). Plenty of room for strollers. Free WiFi through Ward Entertainment. Enclosed shopping mall. Wall chargers available. Free and plentiful parking. Handicapped parking available. Free electric vehicle chargers on ground floor of connected parking structure, and preferred electric vehicle parking (non-hybrid only).

Dropped in to try out Nalu Health Bar & Cafe down at Ward Village. Service was prompt and courteous. Cafe was clean, bright and extremely inviting. Today I tried the Greenery Fresh Made Juice made fresh with kale, spinach, cucumber, ginger, apple, celery and lemon. Nothing like freshly squeezed goodness to recharge and replenish your body. Juice was great tasting and well balanced. I’m glad I tried it today and will definitely be back again.
