2/2024: I've been here a few more times and the food still tastes good. Service was still attentive, but it's extremely slow. We were sitting down for 10 minutes before the waitress came by for the first time to take our drink order. It took 15 minutes after ordering to get my first pitcher of beer, and it took 30 minutes after ordering to get our first food dishes. I'm not sure what the problem is, there aren't a whole lot of tables in the place and there were 5-6 servers zooming around.

Service speed is one of the reasons that my star rating went down, and another is for credit card fees. It's a relatively new policy for them to charge 3% fee for credit card use. Thanks for the throwback!

12/2022: First time at their new location, feels like there’s a little more room than their old place. Menu is mostly the same. Got the garlic bacon fried rice, kimchi fried rice, dynamite chicken, garlic chicken, and french fries. Everything tasted good but the fried food is so heavy. Beer is kind of expensive per glass (pitchers are good price) but not too bad considering the part of town they’re in now. Service...

It's been 2 years since the last time we were here and we knew we had to come back.

One of the drinks we enjoyed the most was the match old fashion. We went to Japan and still couldn't find a drink that was as good as the Social's. It's definitely a drink to try if you like matcha and old fashioned drinks.

As for food, their loco moco with fried rice is really good. When we first had it, we were only going to share it between me and my husband. We devoured it and ordered a second one! We ordered it again when we came back and it did not disappoint.

We also tried the uni mentaiko pasta and the oyster shooters. Uni is a hit or miss for me and I really enjoyed this uni pasta. It was just slightly too salty. Oysters were also tasty. We would order these again.

There's a parking garage with plenty of parking. The restaurant is on the second floor. The restaurant has a bar and plenty of TVs so it's a great place to watch sports and catch their HH. The staff are great and friendly. We can't wait to come back here again when we...

I am giving it 2 stars because our first night there was on 5/4 and it was busy but service was amazing and everything was delicious. Our visit on 5/8 was not great. We made a reservation for 13 we were split into 2 tables, it was not busy at all maybe 3 tables besides us. We ordered and 3 meals came out, then some fries came out, the 1st 3 were done before before the next few got meals, 10 more minutes and a few more get food, the fish with the fish and chips was so freaking hot that after cutting it up and blowing on a bite size piece it blistered the inside of my mouth. The fish tacos were not good, then finally the 12th person got their food, everyone else was done while we still waited on the 13th meal. After asking the server again she brought it out. We asked for boxes and had everything boxed and we waited another 10+ minutes and had to ask for our checks which took her 25 minutes to figure out how to separate it so we could pay. We were sad and disappointed with the horrible service and Timing of...

Since this bar opened in kakaako, its customers don't care for the non-smoking signs not only at the parking garage right in front of the store also the neighborhood area. The entire building especially near the elevator are filled with smoke and drunken noise almost every night. Some of those wasted people screaming and car racing dangerously in the parking garage at night. There always are the children, elders, pregnants, dogs, etc. in this shopping building. It is absolutely not for the resident friendly store and they sat the tables outside for customers encouraging smoking and don't care whatever happens right outside of the store. It's really astonished Ward Village allowed a bar in between all the shopping, cafe, and restaurants.

Hidden gem tucked away on the 2nd floor of Ward Center by Nordstrom Rack, this bar/restaurant has now more parking than where it used to be before at Mccully and Young Street (the old ASB) Popular hangout for me to watch sports and for the late nite crowd as its one of the few places open late. Friendly bartenders and wait staff, great selection of drinks to choose from and now launched a happy hour from 4-6pm Sunday thru Thursday, with discounted food and drink specials. Usually come here 1-2 times a week since the food is straight action. The Social Moco, Fish Tacos, and the Uni Mentaiko Pastas are my go to....the food here is top notch. 5 stars🤙
