Stopped here quickly to grab lunch today (9/23/2024) and everything was delicious! I ordered a chicken katsu bento box and the owner made it fresh (I heard the oil sizzling and everything). The owner was also very kind and kept thanking me for being patient even though it took less than 15 minutes. The chicken was super crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Charming and cozy place with old-school vibe. Three small tables to eat on inside, if you want to watch the cute owner smile and greet all who visit. He made our meals fresh, but if I wanted to grab and go, I would have gladly picked something out from what was available. Just got back from Tokyo, so comparing, the curry sauce in my katsu curry was just as yummy as anything I had there. And the chicken katsu with it was juicy and the perfect pairing.
