I have been battling cancer, and I decided to take my daughter to breakfast at IHop to bond and celebrate me being in remission. She didn't want breakfast, so she ordered lunch. She asked for Nashville Hot Sauce for her chicken tenders. The sauce came on the side, so she poured to over her tenders. She said it had a weird taste. So I tried it and it was weird. It tasted like bad oil. Ugh. We mentioned it to our server, and she said she would be back. She didn't return. We asked another server for the manager. She came, and we explained it has a weird taste, and it could be a bad batch. She took the plate and said she would remake the tenders. She returned a few minutes later and said that the GM said that they would have to charge me remake tenders. Trying to understand, I said, so you would charge me for the first tenders and the remake tenders. My daughter had not even eaten one tender from the plate. We immediately said no, thank you. As I sat there, I thought this couldn't be right. You took our plate (not that we wanted the food), but you want us to pay for it, so if we wanted to take it, we couldn't. I called iHop Customer Service. They asked me for my receipt number, and I didn't have it, so I called my server by name, she ignored me. When she returned to the table across from me, I called her name a second time. She ignored me again. I called her name her name a 3rd time and she made eye contact and turned and walked away. I asked the customer service person if he heard me trying to get the server's attention. He said yes and was noting this. We were able to obtain a copy of the receipt from another server. I have yet to hear back from anyone. Please know that I didn't raise my voice and kept my composure. We even left a nice tip for our server. I won't say the names but if the server reads this, I just want you to know that you made me cry. I felt so embarrassed that you ignored us. I left you a good tip because I wanted you to know that we were trying to get free food, we just wanted to enjoy the food we paid for. To the GM and franchise...
Read moreI went to Chick-fil-A today in Hope Mills to place a large order for children and myself. Instead of placing the order at the location I went ahead and placed a mobile order ahead of time. I must say this is the worst experience I have ever had with Chick-fil-A! I placed an order for a large lemonade, A large fry, your six pack of cookies, a kids meal, and A spicy chicken sandwich meal with a large fry. I live about 15 minutes away from this location and when I got home I noticed that I only had one fry and that was in the kids meal. I was very disappointed so I called the location to see if I can get my fries I spoke with Lariah One of the managers and this is when my experience went down, when I spoke with her she said they were replaced both my large fries and remake the spicy chicken sandwich because I had a drive back up to the location. When I got there I was told that she was only going to give me a large fry and a spicy chicken sandwich and refuse to replace the other large fries that I paid for. I don’t feel like replacing a large fries would have broken Chick-fil-A. The fact is I had to drive back to the location because they didn’t get it right and Gas is almost $4! I feel as though your manager Lariah was unreasonable. It is not my fault that your team did not have my order right the first time. Also your manager Lariah is very untruthful she would not even come out to talk to me she continues to send another young lady out to my car. I love Chick-fil-A but I would never return to this location again all over a large fry but mostly being lied to and deceived by your...
Read moreI waited in the drive thru for 37 minutes for a #1 combo... there were 2 cars ahead of me in my lane and 2 cars in the other lane. You can't get out of the line once you are in it! It took 22 minutes for them to take my order, and finally when someone did start taking orders the runners were delivering food to cars behind me and the other 2 in front. It was unorganized and obviously a manager was not supervising! This is the second time I've had a bad experience at this location and I won't be back. Previous to this, I had to go inside at 840pm to get an order to go because the drive thru was already closed. The milkshake I ordered was terrible because they had already turned off the ice cream machine. When I finally got the 2 shakes I ordered, both of them had something black on them, appeared to be mold/ slime from the machine. The young woman who "appeared" to be in charge, was sarcastic and pretty much blew off my concern and told me it was oreos in my shake. Well, I didn't order anything with oreos, and I know mold/slime when I see it. She made no effort to correct my order and simply told me I should have come earlier, that they close at 9pm. Well, I took my nasty shakes, and had no issue with paying for them, and threw them in the trash on my way out the door. This is what happens when you let kids run your business. Don't waste your time at this location. This franchise is known for efficiency, however, the Hope Mills store is not...
