Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Hope Mills

I ordered through the mobile app and had seen that my order was ready for pick up.

I walked in and gave the worker my name and she goes over and looks at one of my pizzas. She then called over another employee and they began talking and I could clearly hear them mention something about giving my order to another customer. The first person came back and told me it was going to be about another five minutes.

I was a bit frustrated at this point so I asked her if that that was my other pizza on the counter which she confirmed and said the other was in the oven. This was a lie because the person she called over walked to the line and started showing somebody my order they needed to make. They then proceeded to go in the back laughing and dancing.

Finally when my order was finished I was just handed it with no “thank you,” “sorry for your wait,” nothing. Rude and inconsiderate.

So I was lied to, my order wasn’t ready, my other pizza sat there getting cold, I had to stand and wait for the rest of my order to finish being made without any apology, acknowledgement of messing up, or any sort of consolation for my time. I am very patient with fast food employees as I know the job is thankless, usually low paying, and you sometimes have to deal with rude and out of line customers. This experience was enough though to make me never give that location my business again.

Long story short, spend your money elsewhere. Either a different pizza chain or just...

This store is suppose to open at 10am, I arrived at 10:30am to pick up an order for a customer using a third party service. The order was set to be delivered within twenty minutes of arriving at the store & the store was still closed when it was suppose to have opened a half hour prior to my arrival. I didn't see anyone inside the store at first & then a lady appeared to be approaching the front counter & she gestured for me to hold on a minute. When the other girl came to open the door for me to come inside, the lady behind the counter immediately attacked me saying "next time don't be rude" when I hadn't said a single word to her. I had simply gestured from behind a locked door that the door was still locked when the store was suppose to have been open (more than a half hour prior). I don't suggest this location for any kind of in-person interaction, I would say this is probably one of the single most hateful & bazar experiences I've ever encountered. This person must have been dealing with some kind of personal issue & decided that I was her punching bag, but I'm not letting this go so easy. If they can't open the store when it's suppose to open, they need to seek employment elsewhere because it puts jobs like mine on the line when I can't complete an order due to the store being closed more than a half hour after it was...

I am disgusted with what happened tonight. I will never order from this location again. I order my pizza, and the pizza arrives, when my wife and I go to eat, its the wrong pizza. I call and after being on hold, the phone hangs up so I have to call back and am placed on hold AGAIN!!! I finally get to a representative, and I explain what has happened, the person on the phone is very short with me AS IF IT IS MY FAULT THE PIZZA IS WRONG!!!!! They offer to remake it, and I accept, and I also order another set of wings to be brought with the pizza. I wait another 15-20 minutes and the pizza arrives. The wings have not arrived, so driver says she wasn't told about wings. I again call the store, put on hold, and I am told the wings are on another delivery car, so I wait another 15 mins. I go to eat the pizza as I wait on the wings, and the pizza is hard, dry and very hard to swallow. So my PREGNANT WIFE and I sit here dissatisfied with the service. I could've called again about another bad pizza but at this point I am fed up and done, so we eat the wings and now we will go to bed dreaming of a good hot juicy pizza. Thanks Hops mills Papa John's for a terrible experience, long wait and hard dry pizza. I will never come or order from there again, and I will inform friends and family to do the same!!!!!!!...
