Bubbakoo's Burritos — Restaurant in Hopewell Township

First time here, I called an hour before arrival and they guy in the phone told me they have halal options. When I arrive to the restaurant they told me they had a shift change and the two young employees who were present acted completely confused as to what I was asking. The girl behind the counter literally just tells me “we don’t have that here” and the young boy asks me “if you don’t mind me asking, what is considered halal?” Are you kidding me? So you work in the restaurant industry in 2025 and you don’t know what halal is? Very unpleasant, NEVER WOULD RECOMMEND. I was so offended I would actually rate this place lower if I could.

EDITED: so apparently I ended up at the wrong location and the store that has a halal option in Hamilton, NJ is the store I had called. Drove there and had EXCELLENT service and the employees were much more pleasant.

It’s not even about having halal options at the end of the day, Pennington location needs better employees and employees a lot more educated.

Will never be going to this location and definitely will recommend Hamilton...

Wanted to leave a quick review after the fantastic experience we had ordering catering for our kid's bday party. We ordered the "taco party for 10," and added trays of black beans and rice, and that was way more than enough to feed a pack of hungry post-soccer boys, while having tons of leftovers. The order came with the little taco trays and the kids all made different variations of bowls or tacos, each with their preferred ingredients. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. Ordered on the app and pickup was so easy.

We've been in a couple of times since (using points from our big catering order for fun extras) and can't say enough about how friendly and helpful everyone is and how much we enjoy the food. The curly fries are even made fresh to order. Love it! It's so nice having a locally-owned burrito place in Pennington and we're looking forward to...

this opened up right near my house. I figured I’d give it a shot. I placed an online order knowing that it would probably be packed for it just opening I get there it’s very packed. I patiently wait in line so nobody feels like I cut them finally get to the cashier. My order is not even ready, at this point, I waited about 15 minutes. I ordered a bowl that was ready, but my fried Oreos were not the employee making my fried Oreos had no idea how to make them. I watched her the entire time as she made it two times. this is how they came out. I’m not happy about it but they do still taste good , I used to work in a food industry so I get when there’s a lot of customers it could be overwhelming and confusing with so many orders but proper training should definitely be there.
