Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Hopkins

I have reviewed many restaurants and my views are now in the millions. I reserve the 1 star review for the most ridiculous offenders only.

I called Jets yesterday to order the same thing I always get - Large 1 topping lunch special with sausage add mushroom with the turbo crust. The employee asked for my phone number and then told me I couldn't add mushroom to the lunch special. I was confused as I have been doing that for years. I even clarified that I wasn't expecting the extra topping at the for free and that I would be willing to pay for it. I was informed that was impossible. I reluctantly agreed to just sausage wondering why an employee would refuse to take more money. I proceeded to the restaurant to pick up the pizza and was presented a very small box to which I knew wasn't what I had ordered. I was accused of being too vague when I ordered. I guess maybe I was, however I was unaware the onus was upon me to ensure I was to get same pizza I get every time I frequent this establishment. The employee immediately became visibly angry and retook my order, I ended up paying more than double what I thought my bill would be, he then took the small pizza and aggressively threw it in the trash. I then waited in the store for the pizza I wanted as the employee still visibly angry paced back and forth from the front to the back of the kitchen. When the pizza was ready he threw the pizza on the counter (which by the way didn't have the turbo crust), grabbed the sodas and placed those on the counter, and walked away without saying a word still visibly angry.

I know people have bad days, however if something like this makes you act like that you have no business being in a customer interacting situation. I can't recommend a restaurant with employees who act like that, and I won't be back...

2 stars for the pizza, pretty good compared to Domino's/Pizza Hut but too pricey.

The delivery experience, however, was extremely lacking. My driver called me four times trying to find my apartment, which is right off of Main St. and not hard to find at all. His problem was that he was relying on a Garmin. I spent over an hour trying to direct him using nothing but landmarks and street names, and eventually he just stopped responding.

I call the store 5 minutes after no response and my driver picks up! He literally asked me for my address and told me that the order was en route. I'm in complete awe now, but not nearly as much as when the next driver arrived in 1/10th the time it took the original driver, followed the instructions I wrote, and successfully made it to the destination. Despite how frustrating the whole experience was I had to tip him.

I have the utmost respect for fast food workers. I could have called the store screaming for a refund 15 minutes after the pizza was scheduled to arrive. I'm only leaving this review for people considering eating here, not to ruin someone's day. But holy hell! Learn the surrounding city at least if you can't afford a phone that has Google Maps. I live not even a mile...

How a pizza restaurant treated me and my sone was not good at all. It is the worst place I have ever seen I went, there to order a pizza and wings for my son last Thursday,12:15 pm I told them that I was in hurry to my son's school in 45 minutes. I asked the guy how long It gone takes to get it.He said it will take about a 10-15 minutes. guess what I was sitting on the waiting chairs 30 minutes And I was got nothing. One of those guys came to me and said pizza fell! And here's your money back.But I already figured out there something wrong and They gave my order to an other guy who came after I got there. Because they gave him pizza and wings. but he said only the pizza And the wings it's not mine.I tried to ask to tell that that's my order, but the employee ignored me. It is because of how I look and hijab I was wearing 👀??????? When I told my son no pizza he couldn't understand why? My son didn't stop crying 😭. We couldn't go to another pizza place because we were already late from school. Is that fair to anyone, that kind of discrimination, hate and Islamophobia. It was bad experience. I will never ever go back to Jets...
