Los Abuelos Kitchen — Restaurant in Horizon City

We’ve been there for the last two Sundays 4/28/24 & 5/5/24. We loved all the dishes we tried. On 4/28 I got Huevos Rancheros 🍳 with beans and my Brother got Enchiladas montadas (eggs over enchiladas) and beans. We shared a side of potatoes with chorizo and a side of pancakes 🥞 and OMG everything was so good even the coffee ☕️ tastes so good. Much better than our breakfasts at Cracker Barrel for sure!!! On 5/5 I ordered Migas Supreme without chile verde and without cheese plus hash browns and beans. My Brother also ordered Migas Supreme with everything plus hash browns and beans. Everything is so delicious! This is now our place to go for breakfast or brunch every Sunday!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bathrooms are very clean, they clean up tables right away. This is very important!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (a lot of restaurants here at EPTX are very dirty and do not clean their tables 🤢)

Nos encanta su comida, sigan así, con esa calidad y servicio para que les vaya ¡mucho mejor cada día! ¡Muchas felicidades! ❣️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Tal vez necesiten más mesas porque tienen muchos clientes y el primer domingo vimos que varios se fueron porque no había mesas disponibles. Ojalá que puedan poner más mesas adentro y agregar unas afuera porque ¡estamos seguros que sí las llenarían! 😉🫶🏻

Went to eat for the first time and ordered burritos de barbacoa, I’m really picky with barbacoa I don’t like it with big chunks or little tubes, this barbacoa was good, in terms of flavor I give it a 9/10. Only tip I wanna give is to squeeze more the barbacoa because it had a lot of grease, making the burrito/tortilla soggy and everything came out of it when taking a bite, I stopped going to Crisostomo for that reason, they would give me burritos that weren’t even edible because of how much grease the barbacoa had. Not to mention you could be losing money because I would’ve order another burrito but I didn’t because I knew the grease would made me feel grossed out & I would’ve not even finished it. I hope this review gets noticed I really wanna have a good barbacoa place to eat, close to me. I would definitely be coming back for barbacoa and to try other stuff on the menu which I’m sure...

Just picked up my order from there for 3 Chicken Soups (Caldos de Pollo). Menu says 9.99 and total was $33.74 when in fact it should've been $32.44. Went back, and ask the person in charge and he stated that the prices were not actualized so he started changing the price with a pen. I know the difference is little but that's not the point. To me that is FALSE ADVERTISIMENT and by the way did not get any money back!

To top it off, when I get to the car I noticed that they did not include the rice......😡

BEWARE OF YOUR BILL WITH THIS BUSINESS PEOPLE!....😡....and Horizon City businesses are getting worse and worse using this kind of moves!

RESPONSE TO THE OWNER COMMENT:......Then if that is the case, why did you changed the price manually with a pen on the menu when that was not the issue when from the very beginning you should have...
