Wing Daddy's Sauce House — Restaurant in Horizon City

I called to place an order.. called for 20 consecutive minutes and no one answered. They did answer me once and I heard a woman over the phone say "OMG I'm tired" and they never came on the phone. I just heard the football game in the back ground for a couple minutes. Hung up, called back and still no answer. I gave up and drive in to order. I walked in and the place is empty, it's not busy. I ordered my food and paid so I sat down to wait for my order. I was watching the football game and before I knew it 1 hour had passed . People were coming in and getting their orders and walking out. I finally asked for my food and gave them my name and it was sitting on the rack for who knows how long. I waited an hour and now I have cold food. Great... It was 8pm so I just wanted to get home. I drive home and once I'm home I see that they took down my order incorrectly. I order a 36 boneless bite half tangasaurus and half honey hot. I get home and it's tangasaurus and half "girly" it's not what I ordered and I have no idea what this is. The honey hot is for my pregnant wife so out of the entire order, this one is the only one that needs to be correct. So I drive all the way back to the store. Explain the young lady my order was wrong. She says nothing, turns around and comes back a couple minutes later and asks what was incorrect.

It was an absolute disaster to order from here and it continues to happen time and time again.. I like the food just wish they would get things right or do better.. seems to be an issue at all the locations throughout the city . Just mediocre service all through EL Paso . A 90 minute headache from start to finish.. Long wait for Cold food . And to top it off . No Ranch . Jesus you can't make...

12-11-22 I spoke this morning exactly an hour ago with Matt. He kindly heard my concern. He apologized and made my order right! I took pictures. Thank you for listening to me and making my order right. Matt made my Sunday better! Giving him a 5!

After the last unpleasant experience, thought take out would be better. It was not. We asked for grilled lemon pepper boneless wings. We were given regular, lemon pepper, burnt , wings. We went back to correct the mistake, because everyone makes mistakes right? Well we got burnt grilled wings, ;( 😢 if someone there reads this second review, please I do not want you to ask me to private message you. I can go back and take the box to you so you can see it. I will keep them to show you. We have been to Wing Daddy's on Airway and have not had an issue with wings there :( I hope to be able to get a good, tasty, order here one day. Thank you all.

We went tonight... waited for someone to come to our table. The manager was on his phone, the servers chitchatting by the cash register in the back. I called while I was still inside. I was sent to voicemail the first time. A young lady picked up the second time. I explained to her what has happening and told her some other guests had literally just walked in and they were already being assisted. She told me she was sending someone, to hold on. When the manager went to check by the door, we got up and I told him, " excuse me, I am the one that just called. We have been waiting and no one bothered to come and ask what we wanted to drink. I am beyond frustrated with my experience at this location, especially since it was to celebrate the 17th anniversary. The food was good, but everything else was a disaster. The deal for boneless wings was supposed to be 39 cents, so I specifically asked the waitress about it before we ordered. She told me it was for increments of 8, 12, and so on. Yet, when the bill came, we were charged $8.99 for each order of 8 pieces. When I pointed this out, the waitress casually said the deal was only for 12-piece orders, completely ignoring what she had said earlier. To make matters worse, she had the audacity to tell me, “well sorry that you misunderstood.”

I didn’t misunderstand anything—I asked clear questions, and she gave me the wrong information. My husband even corrected her, saying she misspoke, but she didn’t care to own up to it. She just stood there and brushed us off. We had to get the manager involved, but honestly, at that point, the damage was done. The waitress completely ignored us after that. It’s not about the price; it’s about the disrespect and the fact that the server couldn’t take responsibility for her mistake.

This was an incredibly disappointing experience, especially since we were recommended this specific location in El Paso. I sincerely hope they review the security footage because the cameras will show exactly how poorly we were treated by the server.
