OMG OMG THE CHICKEN AND DUMPLINS!! 😍🔥😍 yal, forget the chains and come support these awesome folks . This place is too good to be true and the food tastes like mom’s in the kitchen cooking it all up from scratch and the quality and quantity shows. Me and my friend finally got to try the Wednesday special chicken and dumplings with two sides. One way you know they are made fresh daily is the side options change daily. We got different to try and ALL of them reminded me of home. And omg the portions and prices are so appreciated, especially how things are getting crazy these days. The staff is like family and treats even new comers like so. I LOVED the experience here. I’m beating myself up for not trying this place sooner. The daily special is where it’s at! This place is a really cozy, small restaurant that feels like you’re eating in someone’s living room. The decor is old fashioned style and there’s a lot to look at. Service was awesome- our server Linda was very entertaining and honest about certain menu items which was much appreciated. I will definitely be back to try the pasta special on Mondays- lasagna AND spaghetti, what’s not to love?! Our last visit I ordered the Friday special Hamburger Steak that was smothered in a thick brown gravy with onions, and a massive pile of mashed potatoes and gravy, a side of turnip greens and corn bread. The “steak” was really thick and It was very satisfying, needed a little salt but I don’t mind that. My friend ordered the BLT and was super delighted by the amount of bacon and flavor- you can even choose white or wheat bread. The only disappointing part was the fries, it just seems if you are going to be a southern home cooking kinda place you need real, home cut fries, not the frozen crinkle cuts you can find at some chain that’s not worth going to. Other than that, If you are craving home cooking in a quaint little setting, I recommend this place over a chain any day. There’s heart...

However, if a business such as a hotel normally charges guests for damage that they cause, a customer with a disability may be charged for damage caused by his or her service animal. • A person with a disability cannot be asked to remove his service animal from the premises unless: (1) the animal is out of control and the animal's owner does not take effective action to control it (for example, a dog that barks repeatedly during a movie) or (2) the animal poses a direct threat to the health or safety of others. • In these cases, the business should give the person with the disability the option to obtain goods and services without having the animal on the premises. • Businesses that sell or prepare food must allow service animals in public areas even if state or local health codes prohibit animals on the premises. • A business is not required to provide care or food for a service animal or provide a special location for it to relieve itself. • Allergies and fear of animals are generally not valid reasons for denying access or refusing service to people with service animals. • Violators of the ADA can be required to pay money damages and...
Read moreWe visited Hot Springs for our 10 year anniversary. We lived to find mom-and-pop places when we visit out of state places that are local favorites vs tourist spots. This quaint little restaurant was recommended by a business owner and it did not disappoint. The aesthetic is so cute, its like being at grandmas house and looks like an actual house. I wish we had made it before 11 because I wanted breakfast and they do stop selling breakfast at 11 but our lunch was great nonetheless. I got the turkey club and my husband got the shrimp which was not good but it wasnt their fault at all because it was one of just a handful or items on the menu that wasnt homemade so technically it was his own fault haha. However, he did get the green beans and cornbread for sides and not only are their sides MASSIVE they were homemade and phenomenal. Being fron Texas we are picky about our cornbread and theirs was top tier!! I wish I could have bought a whole pan to bring home.
The one thing I would like to focus on is our service. I hate we dont remember her name but she was fantastic. They were extremely short-staffed and busy during our visit. It was apparent that all the employees were overwhelmed but they handled everything so well and worked together like a well oiled machine to keep things moving in the front and back whether it was their position to do so or not. I was paying attention to that closely because it was so impressive to me. They were in a very high stress situation but it did not affect their ability to provide exceptional service to us and all the other guests that I was able to...
