I ordered $30 of food. Tipped the driver as you should. I always always always always order the Mongolian beef. Even with them raising the cost up I don’t mind bro se it’s good at least from here. The lady gave me chiken instead of beef. Not only did I call back and told her they messed . The lady laughed like oh ok what do you want me to do about it. It’s chicken chicken is good too. If I wanted to pay $14 for chicken I would much rather get some wings . That being said. I left that alone and from the sound of the lady nothing was going to change . I hung up. Took the L there. But my large wonton soup not being a recent batch is a big big big problem. Idk how old this wontons are but I bet they are not from this week. Pure disappointment. Terrible customer service, ordered through uber eats, called ahead to ask if I could make a substitution for broccoli instead of squash. Spoke to the manager and she said yes. I called after placing the order to follow up that they got the change before they started making the order. She said it was going to be an additional charge which she did not mention before. I said why is there an additional charge if I am swapping items out and in addition you didn’t mention this charge before. She said its uber eats fault and they can’t make additions. I asked to speak to the manager, she said she was the manager and then said she can cancel the order or make it without any substitutions, I said I was going to cancel the order and this was poor customer service and she hung up. I love the 888 Being Chinese Restaurant located in League City so I was excited to see the location here in Houston on Hillcroft. Unfortunately, to my surprise, they are nothing alike.

There is reserved parking in front of the restaurant for takeout customers. That makes it easy to get in and get out. The menu offers a great variety of options. The lady at the register was warm and friendly. My food was hot and ready when I arrived in under15 minutes after I ordered. It was fresh.

I wanted to like it so bad but there were literally 2 shrimp in my daughter’s lo mein. I ordered the Mongolian beef. It was 80% onion, 20% meat and sauce. I didn’t believe it myself, so I took a photo to share.
