I’ve been a customer here for over 10 years and have always loved the cakes, especially the Arabic coffee. However, today’s experience was extremely disappointing.

I came to buy a larger cake for my staff and pointed to one in the display case. The older blonde lady working there was very rude and kept saying all the cakes I pointed to were already taken, even though there were over 12 cakes displayed. When I asked which ones were available, she responded rudely for no reason.

To avoid further issues, I started talking to a younger employee instead. She was kind, respectful, and helped me get the cake I wanted. However, while I was speaking to her, the older lady interrupted loudly and rudely, yelling, “Excuse me, hey! Come here and pay!”

I didn’t want to ruin my day, so I went to the register and paid, even though I was in the middle of ordering. She insisted, saying, “You pay, then continue your order.” After paying, I sat down to enjoy my coffee and a small pepperoni pizza.

While I was eating, she shouted again from the cashier, “Hey, excuse me, pick up your cake!” This was unnecessary and embarrassing, especially since the cake was already paid for and could have been left on their shelf. I’ve never been forced to take a cake to my table immediately, especially while eating. Other customers witnessed her rude behavior, and it made the experience very unpleasant.

This older blonde employee does not represent the respectful service I’ve come to expect here. If I see her again on my next visit, I will turn around and leave. Thankfully, the younger employee was professional and made the situation a...

I know you're gonna see this. Minutes ago, I tried to order the exact same thing I got (additional instructions were the same) the day before yesterday. You called me to talk about baklava fingers costing a different amount... How does that make any sense?

I had even increased the size of my order and paid more, hoping I'd get similar service I got before. Did a ghost pack my order on Friday?? Why would it cost extra??

See the photo of the pack I got on Friday. It's even clearly not 1 lb but I didn't mind since I stated not wanting any cashew baklava. You're being ridiculous. I guess there's a reason why I stopped purchasing regularly from your store at the beginning of this year. Thank you for the reminder.

Edit 9/12/24: Because I've got time today.... Your response does not really make any sense, because that means you're falsely advertising what you offer. I have added more pictures of what your listing looks like and how that prompted me to research on each specific type of baklava. This was to prevent you guys from giving me 5 of the same type. Your picture shows various types of baklava and I also specifically ask for variety in the notes every time.

If your items cost differently, then don't put false images and confuse people. You're not about to make me out to be a crazy, entitled customer to the public. I've always kept pictures to keep track of each type of baklava I received when I ask for "NO CASHEWS" and "ASSORTED"...

Having good food is negated by rude owner and terrible customer service; I have been going there for years way before this owner bought it from the original owner for the food but tolerated their bad customer service because of their monopoly on the Lebanese sweets in Houston until recently. Few weeks ago I purchase Baklava(ladies fingers) for the family. Well they were burned. So I took them back for what I thought would have been a speedy apology and exchange. Boy was I wrong or what I asked for the owner so I can show them to him. When he came out, I showed him the baklava and told him that they were burned. He rudely took a piece from the box , broke it in half and told me to my shock that they were not burned and he could not give me an exchange, again rudely and against health department regulations placed the 2 half pieces that he touched in my box, and told me that he could only exchange the piece he touched and broke. Keep in mind that they were customers in the store and they were able to hear him humiliate me in front of them. Thankfully, I have a choice now between a horrible and excellent customer service Bye Bye sweets factory hello...

They are located on a strip mall with plenty of parking. The store offers a wide variety of sweets which look delicious. I was in a mood; I bought a box of mixed baklavas, petit 4 cookies, Turkish knafe, cheese knafe, mamoul with pistachio, and mamoul with walnut. The baklavas had crispy phyllo dough which had a crunch to them. They were of the right sweetness. The knafes were sweet enough for me without adding the syrup. The mamouls and petit 4 cookies were hard. It was tough to bit through. Once I got through the first bite of the mamouls, the flavors were ok, and they were packed with fillings. The petit 4 cookies tasted ok. The flavors were not strong. The staff was so nice to package my baklavas neatly in their store bag. The staff was super patient to answer all the questions I had. The cafe has a homely vibe. There are plenty of seating. It is a good place to enjoy the sweets.
