I'm sure it sounds crazy with all the nice reviews this place has that I would leave a bad review. But I couldn't believe what just happened. I have never felt so discriminated due to not having anyone else with me sitting at a table. Calling me out on just minding my own business! I was looking forward to having a nice cup of coffee and meet a few other colleagues of mine here. From what I read in the previous reviews, the owners are very nice, well I must have come in the day they woke up on their bad side! When I walked in, all the tables were being used except for a 4 seater. I asked the gentleman at the counter- if anyone was sitting there and he said they must of left and so I asked him if I could it there. He said yes. He cleared out the table and I ordered a coffee and water. He seems annoyed by even asking it seemed. I sat down and once I settled myself and took a first sip of my coffee, the female owner approaches me and asks for me to move to a smaller table because a larger party just came in and she needs the table I'm sitting in for them.... Seriously? I was here first and I paid for a drink and now I'm being moved to accommodate someone else. I asked her, are you serious? and she said yes. She didn't even ask if I was waiting on someone, and if she would have asked, I would have told her, Yes, I'm waiting for 4 other individuals that were joining me for a meeting! She could have easily combined two smaller tables but no, she chose to come bother me. I can't tell you if the coffee was good or not, because I didn't get a chance to even take a second sip! I own my own business and have always been extremely supportive of other small business, except for individuals that don't appreciate ALL of their customers. I meet with clients all the time in the area and was hoping I had found a great meeting spot for my clients and I to meet in the future, but I would rather drive down the street to a starbucks or Minuti Cafe were they will treat their clients equally and request their time there. So make sure if you do come here, don't come alone of you won't seem profitable to them if you sit in one of...
Read moreI'm a native Houstonian who has lived away in San Antonio for a few years. I'm taking a mini-vacation back home. I have been back to visit I had just never found Anonymous Cafe before. Speaking of found, I did have a difficult time locating it but after I placed my order - I can't remember her name someone called me to verify how I wanted my coffee sweetened. I was able to ask for help locating their place (park in the garage, the entrance is on Norfolk. ) and then I called back again to ask about where to go to wait in my car. She and the man who brought my food to me were very nice friendly kind. In a busy crowded city it is refreshing to find people in the service industry that are genuinely happy and friendly. Because I have my small dog with me I wanted a place that I could either drive through or have them bring it to my car but not a large chain. Some people may think eggs are easy to cook but they're easily messed up, they are delicate. Their website was extremely easy to use. I had to go back several times because of my own mistakes but I like how they have it set up. They have 'no' next to each ingredient and you click on the ones that you do want. I chose a croissant with egg bacon and tomato and a cold Freddo cappuccino. It was a very generous serving of egg that was fluffy but not falling apart there was a large strip of bacon that was thick but not too chewyabd crispy enough but not dry, the croissant was delicious and not overly flaky...only a few bits fell away while eating it. The cappuccino was great! I would have preferred it blended. If there was an option to click to have my cold cappuccino blended I missed it. It's not a deal breaker, I'd...

If you go here I would be careful with the owner he’s very unprofessional and rude and I don’t know how someone like that is currently still in business disgusting behavior.
My friend and I sat outside of the cafe to do some studying and we had literally just got there I believe not even 5 minutes of us sitting there talking the owner comes up to us saying that we can’t sit there if we don’t buy anything. ( keep in mind we just got there and I was eventually planning on getting something )
When he told us to leave he went inside and came back out repeating “ get your stuff and go right now this is private property “ AFTER we were already LEAVING and had our stuff packed. I mentioned that we were eventually going to get something but we had just sat down and he completely disregarded it and said leave right now.
He kept coming outside to us and as we were leaving he was saying that he owns the “ VISITOR PARKING “ & that it’s private property when clear it says VISITOR PARKING. he started recording us since I was recording the incident for my own safety and because he was being absolutely rude with the way that he handled the whole situation
& I just wish he would have politely asked us from the beginning and handled be situation so much better, As an “ OWNER “ of the store for future references I would learn how to treat people...
