This was my first show and unfortunately my last. First of all i was SUPER excited to finally experience this. I took my babes for his 57th birthday celebration. We were led to the conference room. Wish it was at least decorated to fit...well anything. Anyway i looked past it. The hostess reminded me of a preschool teacher as she laid out the expectations of the group. I anticipated something COMPLETELY different so i suppose i set myself up for the let down. IMO there were way too many corny jokes. I paid for my babes to be included in the crime, i thought. Idk what i paid for really. Wouldnt recommend paying that extra $25, i think thats what it was. I guess i thought they would try to pin the crime on him and included him more but NOPE. Anywhos...the food was NOT worth the $80/plate. We had fish, it was overcooked. The rice would've been perfect for chicken fried rice. We didnt touch the vegetable medley, HILTON, SHAME ON YOU. BETTER COULD'VE BEEN DONE. It truly was more like a comedy show, and i was definitely disappointed. Would i do it again? No. Would i recommend? I suppose, just because opinions differ, but i would tell them what i honestly thought. I was expecting something similar to that episode on the Golden Girls, when they attended the Murder Mystery Weekend. It failed...
Read moreThis experience was not what I expected it to be. I thought it would be a live and interactive engagement type of a show. I thought there would be tangible clues (instead of a QR code) and it would be some acting/entertainment or a scavenger hunt. Instead there were 2 detectives who talked too much. They fixated on certain audience members repeatedly. The “killer” was obvious and so were the other character actors. One activity was that the team captain was supposed to draw a sketch of someone shady at their table. But that went nowhere. The story was not even complete, there were other “killers” but it was not revealed. I probably won’t go ever back. The drinks were starting at $20…. The food was okay. On top of all that, they actually asked for tips at the end after already spending $200 … yeah NO. The staff was nice...
Read moreI really enjoyed the mystery and most of the staff were lovely and funny. There was one staff member that skipped over me and my family multiple times during the checkin process. Another staff member noticed and came over and asked her to check us in. (We were standing right in front of her. She didn’t make eye contact and looked around us). I don’t remember her name but she was the main hostess for the night in a red dress. The person who came over to help us was a very nice white man who was one of the detectives. I am very grateful to him for trying to right the injustice. But I hope this is experience does not occur again to any of the black patrons of The...
