Waygood - Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Houston

Great drinks but the service needs serious improvement. 1. It’s happened more than once where their app shows a reward or a freebie but when you get there the cashier barista doesn’t know how to ring it in and they never provide a solution, it’s always this oh well we just can’t do it attitude. 2. Service is slow and inefficient. Today the line was super long and that’s expected when a place has good products. What’s not expected is for the line to be long because the girl with the crochet bandana at the drive through window isn’t efficient. When I FINALLY got to the window I sat there for 3 minutes (yes I counted) before she even acknowledged me. When she finally opens the window, she’s repeating the WRONG order. So she had me waiting there because she was too busy preparing the WRONG drinks. Had she greeted me and acknowledged me when I got to the window like anyone with basic customer service skills, she would’ve saved herself from wasting time and making customers wait while she slowly prepares the wrong drinks. All I had was a drip coffee which takes 5 seconds to pour. She offered and gave me NO cream or sugar. And gave me a pastry she popped in the oven for a few seconds. It was still cold when she gave it to me. PLEASE Waygood train your staff better. If service can be as good as your beverages...

Came today for a redemption and it was perfect! I cannot fault them for one bad experience since they are still new from recent opening! They must still be training their baristas. I have been there 3 times so far within a week and 2/3 have been perfect! I had an iced pumpkin spice latte and iced waygood caramel latte - they were fantastic today! Their iced lattes are delicious but I will give another try for their hot beverages another day, since the last time was not done right. The barista today was polite and friendly as well! Will keep coming back if the consistency remains!

I’ve been to this place before and loved their #1 waygood iced caramel cloud latte; it was one of the best coffees I've ever had! I returned this morning hoping to try more options, ordering the same latte but hot and an Oreo frozen coffee. Unfortunately, I was let down. The hot coffee was missing caramel and barely tasted like coffee at all. It was nothing like the first latte I had. They had forgotten the caramel :/ The Oreo frozen coffee was too icy and watery, with large chunks of ice. I would drink out of the straw but the ice would be too large for me to suction thru the straw. I’m really disappointed because my first experience was fantastic. I hope to give it another shot, perhaps it was just an off day for...

I was skeptical about using a new coffeeshop at first, but the employees were so nice and really assisted me with signing up for the rewards program. Let me tell you this it's better than the Starbucks program.

Okay let me start, so I got the pumpkin latte in which they make their own sauce and add pie crumble on the top, it was so delicious I had to make it last the whole day. I'll be back for another. The other thing I ordered that made me write this review was their jalapeño cheese turkey croissant. I have been searching my whole life for a turkey filled croissant and I found it. That croissant really made my day and year. I will make it a daily week trip to get that turkey jalapeño cheese croissant. Also for anyone who may want to try it out it's not spicy like you'd think but the freshness and flavor is there.

Overall I had a great morning and I'm glad this coffeeshop opened up. I'll definitely be racking up some points. I also haven't been inside but once I do try it I'll make a small post. Go try out their different coffee assortments and the pastries you...
