TLDR: If you get a server named Salomon F - you are going to have the worst dinner of your life.
I'm really disappointed in the service my family and friends received when the food is decent but for the price and automatic gratuity, the service should not have been so absolutely terrible. We went with 8 people that turned into 10- our server couldn't even bother to add a table and instead just added two chairs to the ends when there were several empty ones around us and adding the table would not have hindered the floor plan - this caused our food, drink, and guests to be cramped and uncomfortable. Then to make matters worse, one of my guests asked for silverware and the server loudly asked if she had dropped them and audibly "tsked" at her. She didn't even have any to begin with and the server literally tossed her utensils down to her. With 10 people eating the chips, they went quickly and I had to ask our server twice for refills and he once again acted unhappy and as if I were bothering him to ask him for refills and exasperatedly grabbed the baskets and tossed them back down once full. Drinks were constantly empty and my guests and myself had to ask for any and all refills. The server got even worse when a second one of my guest asked for silverware (because the table was originally set for 8 and the server did not add two additional silverware when the other two joined) and the server loudly and rudely pointed out to my guest where each silverware belonged to each person as if everyone had enough. He still did not bring the requested silverware and I had to resort to standing up and getting a set from an empty table. When our food arrived, the server continued to talk to other servers 3 feet from our table leaving the person who brought the food from the kitchen to call out the orders and ask who's plate was who when the server could have made the whole process easier by doing their job and serving us our food as he took our orders. Needless to say, the server got away with an automatic 20% gratuity on a fat check that he didn't deserve and Pico's lost my business, my family's business, and my friends' business. We all know now to stick to Xochi, Hugo's, or Caracol where not only the food is amazing, but so is their service, unlike Picos! (btw, this is my second time dealing with this particular server and both experiences have been negative. The server's name...
