I came here for the first time today based on the pictures and positive reviews and I was taken aback at what I saw. The Ashley’s Donuts photos shown on google reviews are 5 years old. I didn’t realize that. The Ashley’s donuts we got today is nowhere near what it used to be. The place has not been kept up and now it looks run down. But hey that doesn’t necessarily determine the taste or the quality of their donuts and kolaches. Well, we tasted the donuts and kolaches and it was not good. The breading for the kolaches had some weird taste. Not sure if this is due to maybe, poor quality ingredients? This applied to all the breading on the small and large kolaches as well as the breading used for the croissants. The donuts were slightly better but it was still unimpressive. I ended up just throwing my whole breakfast away, since I couldn’t eat it. I could’ve easily gone to Dunkin’ Donuts down the street, but I enjoy going to my local Mom and Pop donut shops, since my experience has been really good. Unfortunately, Ashley‘s donuts is not a good representation of that. It feels like they have given up on their business and given up on the quality of their food. To top it off, the staff seemed unamused and dining inside is a big NO. The interior looks bleak and dreary and just sad. Oh and the person in charge of commenting on the business’s google reviews cannot take criticism and are a bit hostile in fact. So be weary if you decide to leave an...
Read moreThe only reason I gave 2 stars was because it wasn't crazily disgusting it was just bad. First off the croissant is just a mini kolache. The "regular kolache I ordered was pretty small smaller then the 1 in the picture and the "jumpo" kolache is literally just a regular sized kolache and last and least the chocolate stuffed donut was the worst. Whoever prepared it or I'm not sure if that's just how it's made they violated it just overstuffed it with chocolate. I had to squeeze it out just a huge blob of chocolate also to mention the kolaches were all cold. The only thing that was ok was the regular glazed donut which I should have just got. That chocolate donut made me not wanna try anything new...

If a customer is making a food run for their coworkers and requests to make and pay for orders individually, it would seem to benefit the business to accommodate that request. This is a common request and practice that takes place all the time, and the vast majority of businesses happily oblige. Not this place, unfortunately. Because this shop refuses to accommodate this situation, I'm unable to enjoy the top-notch donuts this place produces, all because some lady running the register is annoyed by how a customer chooses to place their...
