Bahama Buck's - The Heights — Restaurant in Houston

I’m a frequent visitor of Bahama Buck’s and have always enjoyed their signature fluffy snow cones. Before this location opened, I used to make the drive to the Katy Freeway spot whenever I had a craving. While this new location offers friendly service, a welcoming staff, and a more convenient location, the snow cones themselves haven’t lived up to the standard I’ve come to expect from other Bahama Buck’s locations.

Unfortunately, the texture here has been consistently disappointing. The snow cones tend to be partially melted by the time they’re served, lacking the light, fluffy consistency that sets Bahama Buck’s apart. I’ve given this location multiple chances—more than a handful of visits—and the results have been the same each time.

I hope this feedback helps improve the process or helps this location figure out why they can’t match the fluffy consistency the other locations around Houston deliver. The staff and atmosphere definitely make this a place I want to love, but for now I’ll be driving to Katy Freeway to enjoy a true Bahama...

Great addition to the heights area and in a location with newly updated streets and intersections making it easy to park in front of or go around to use the drive thru. It's been years since I had been to a Bahama Buck's, and I still had a good experience at this new location. I got a baby birthday cake with sprinkles and condensed milk on top to make it a little creamy and it was exactly what I needed so I wouldn't lose any remaining amount of sanity I may have left in 2025. I’ve been to Bahama Buck’s several times and I absolutely love it! Their shaved ice is incredibly smooth and packed with flavor — they have so many unique options that it never gets boring. Favorites of mine are the “Tigers Blood” sno® with vanilla ice cream and the refreshing Mango Dragonfruit smoothie. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.
