As I arrive to order my pizza today, I notice the lady with long braided extensions loading the napkin dispenser while she is scratching her head vigorously. Same person that has served me several times and always I notice not only does she have a less than positive or customer oriented attitude but she is touching her braids, scratching her head and several things in proximity and proceeds to touch the food and everything that comes in contact with a customer's food. I guess just because she has disposable gloves on that makes it alright in her opinion. No one seems to understand that gloves are for not contaminating the customer's food not so they don't have to wash their hands. Also she and most of her indifferent coworkers toss the ingredients on the pizza like a clumsy child and at the same time act like the cost of food is coming out of their bonus or pay. Another thing that seems to be absent besides friendliness are hair restraints. If I do recall correctly in the City of Houston hair restraints are requisite when preparing or being in proximity of food. Of all the times and days I have visited, very few people are wearing hair restraints. Even if you did not have hair it is still requisite as dander can fall in the food as well. So there you go: a really nice excellent concept mired in the lack of hygienic practices and positive and friendly customer service. I will be sending the city of Houston's Health Department this information as well.
This was a Google Review published over 2 months ago. Since then, I have visited this location several times and I have seen a consistent disregard for cleanliness, hygiene and customer service. The aforementioned lady with braids one day had ripped pants and decided to scratch her exposed skin vigorously and proceeded to handle food, surfaces and utensils that come in contact with food without the benefit of washing nor, sanitizing or utilization of food safe gloves. One day I came back for a drink refill and was rude right in front of her co worker (quite possible management?) They are unable to follow simple common sense. Treat the customer as you wish to be treated and handle the food as if you were...
Read moreHey, y'all! I just had the most amazing time at Blaze Pizza in Terminal A, IAH, and I couldn't wait to share my excitement with you! Here's why this place totally rocked:
First off, the pizza size was insane! Seriously, it was huge and totally hit the spot. I left the joint feeling like I had conquered Mount Pizza. It's perfect if you're craving a good ol' filling meal.
Now, let's talk about the crust. Brace yourself because it was absolute perfection! Crunchy on the outside, yet soft and chewy on the inside. It was like a little slice of pizza heaven in my mouth. Kudos to the folks at Blaze Pizza for nailing that crispy goodness.
And the cheese, oh my cheese! It was ooey-gooey, stretchy, and just downright awesome. I couldn't get enough of that melty goodness. It added a whole new level of flavor and made my taste buds do a happy dance.
But wait, there's more! The toppings were incredibly fresh. I'm talking farm-to-pizza kind of fresh. The selection was mind-blowing, and I got to customize my pie just the way I wanted it. Each bite was a flavor explosion, and it felt like a party in my mouth.
After this fantastic experience, I'm already planning my next visit to Blaze Pizza. Seriously, folks, mark my words, I'll be back for more of that awesomeness. It's hands down my go-to spot for pizza in Terminal A, IAH.
To wrap it up, if you're passing through the terminal and craving some mind-blowing pizza, you gotta hit up Blaze Pizza. Trust me, it's the real deal. So grab your appetite and get ready for a pizza experience...
Read moreAnyone who has eaten here knows that the pizza is good. This review has nothing to do with the quality of the food. This is all about the quality of the employees that are working there. I came to this pizza shop 30 minutes before closing and the employee at the counter was being extremely rude to be passenger in front of me. After more help grudhingly came from the back, they made it very clear that they did not want to take care of anymore guests and flicked the switch to turn off the menu above so that no one else could place an order. 30 entire minutes before closing! They were yelling obscenities to each other from across the shop and did not even try to hide the fact that they no longer wanted to continue preparing pizzas, you know, as they are paid to do? I'm trying to figure out how each and everyone of the handful of staff passed the job interview. I was literally afraid to place my order with the staff, as the woman who was preparing the pizza in not conceal her disdain for Helping those in line. My coworkers are obsessed with this place and that is the only reason I went in the first place was to pick up a pizza for them. They will have to make that trip on their own, from now on, as I want nothing to do with it deplorable staff and they're equally unpleasant customer service that they provided to myself and the other customers who were in line, one half hour before closing. Fire everyone...
