El Tiempo — Restaurant in Houston

Service was incredibly slow and poor. Only one bartender to cover the whole bar and surrounding tables. Sat at bar for 10 minutes waiting to order a drink and never was asked. Got up to order in food line and finally got the bartender’s attention to order a margarita to go but that’s not allowed and he didn’t even acknowledge my wait time. He ruined my experience. It was the heavier guy with glasses and ponytail.

Food service was still a bit slow but I was actually able to get food. The girl who served me was great and gave my sizable portions that made it feel worth the money. As for quality of food, my white mother can make better burrito bowls than this tex mex. They didn’t have any guacamole left even though it comes with most of their food options which makes no sense. They gave avocado instead which was fine but when I asked for lime the lady said she didn’t have any. What?! I’m sure they had some at the bar but to ask for that was not worth it at that point.

This is the most incompetent set of employees that you would ever come across. I told the bartender I have 35 minutes before boarding and they waited full 35 minutes to simply wrap a burrito ( chipotle does it in 2 minutes). Even at 35th minutes I had to beg the bartender to send me food and he replied “ I will not wrap the burrito for them”. If you do not want to miss a flight, please avoid this employee team at any cost, unless this is the last place on earth left to eat. I did make it tot he flight but worst experience with a server in 45 years. There is no option for 0 star unfortunately. WILL NOT BE BACK HERE : Waited 35 mins for a steak burrito that had 3 strips of steak fat on an ice cold tortilla and had ZERO FLAVOR all for the low low price of 20$ they were out of just about everything else beans sour cream cheese lettuce ya know the stuff that goes on a burrito.the poor lady working the register was lost( she seemed new ) which is understandable but the other employees (2) would barely help her or try to train her at the very least.plenty of people drinking but the kitchen left them waiting for longer than myself because they were there before I arrived and some did not get food until I was walking away with my tasteless and lacking...
