Burger King — Restaurant in Houston

Visited this location on today and left highly disappointed. I ordered a whopper with cheese through the drive through. Once I received my order I checked and there was no cheese, I then parked my car and went inside. After waiting in the former line of about 3 three people, I requested a slice of cheese. The young lady at the register informed me that it would be a dollar for cheese, I then presented my bag and told her that I had already paid for cheese. She asked me for receipt I informed her that I wasn’t provided with one, but I had made my purchase through the drive through. The lady from the return approached the lady in the drive through, and spoke with her. The lady from the drive through then brought my receipt and laid it on the counter in front of me. The lady from the register asked for my order so that the cheese could be added, I declined and asked that she give me a slice of cheese so that I could be on my way. She then spoke to the they other lady in their language and she said “No” I asked for a refund. I was given a full refund. Where she could have just accepted fault and allowed me to have it “My way” she declined and had to void sale. I shouldn’t have had to give her my order back to check for assurance, that should have been done the first time. Her concern of losing a $1 for a slice of cheese that I had already paid for earned Burger King a poor review and loss of sale. What a waste of...

Truly a horrible location. We came through the drive through, expecting the quick and wonderful service that other BK locations have... but when we went to the window, we payed and began the wait. 5 or so minutes into waiting, one of the workers came up and said that there were no more iced coffees. I found this inconvenient as they could have checked if they had any more before they took our money. So we settled on a shake. They worked so slow, stopping to converse with other workers. We received the food around 5 more minutes later, and only needed the drinks. We waited around for the drinks a much longer time, 13 minutes at the minimum- just to receive the shakes so dirty, the sides were stained with the shake and who knows what else. We waited around for the final drink, and after a few more minutes one came up to us and asked why we were still here, and said we were still waiting on the icee. She went and grabbed a small drink size (the icee was supposed to be large) and filled it, spilling the contents. She gave up trying to clean it and poured it into a large cup, and handed into us, not even filling it up. I was so shocked at how they could act and do all this when we could see them so clearly through the window. They also didn’t have their masks on correctly, so beware of the sanitation here. The place first off did not have change in the middle of the day.. the food was cold, I shouldn’t have to ask for fresh food during rush hour. The manager was nice and all but it was the waste of time. I was told to go to another establishment to get change and come back and order my food. When I refused the manager took my bill next door for change, she was taking so long I had to go find the problem! When I got there the guy and manager were laughing and counting small bills like it was a joke. I politely got my money back and Apple paid my food. After going through all of that, of course I demanded fresh food!! But again… why should I even have to ask!!
