I went to have lunch with 2 other work colleagues and ordered 2 Biriyani( 1 Goat and 1 Chicken) with a Chicken 65 . The order came quick with out not much waiting.
But the chicken 65 is just the colored with red but tasted is very bad not Authentic cook the dish its self not even comparable with any other real chicken 65 if we compare with any other restaurant who server chicken 65. Then Chicken Biriyani (which we ordered we need spicy biriyani ) its just some little colored rice with few chicken pieces. Then called the person may be he is owner and showed whats this he told may be the biriyani masala is inside then i used the spoon and scooped the rice and showed him then he sent us a small bowl of rice with masala and I did not understand what he is expecting us to do with that then again called him actually i have to go and talk with him ( there are not much cutomers in the restaurant to have him busy not to come and check with customers how the food is etc only 3 tables from past one hour are occupied among 20 + tables in the restaurant) then he told i sent you the bowl with masala i said i expecting to replace the chicken biriyani bowl then after 15 mins he sent a biriyani bowl with all masala mixed and lot of green chilis chooped in to small small pieces and expecting us to eat that and my colleagues got their mouth hot and we have order coke to get out of that spicy taste which will get stomach upset.
The biriyani factory team has to learn about customer service
I will not go next or encourage any one to go But I wont tell any negative as I got bad customer experience but not all will get same experience. I took this much my valuable time to give review as at least they will learn how to give good customer satisfaction if the food is not that great which they served for the customer paid for. ( as I took my team my colleagues to lunch as we are working today due to some project dead lines but our start with...
Read more3.5 stars overall for service, bottled water, and chicken kurma.
We came here with a group of 6 on a Saturday for lunch. There was no one in the restaurant except for one other guest. There is plenty of parking if you park in the garage in the back. This place is upstairs and not very visible from the street.
The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. I think it was the owner that spoke to us about several items on the menu.
It is common in the Indian community to get water without ice. The water here is served in bottles which is complimentary and unexpected. Nice touch.
I didn't visit the restrooms but I heard from other people in the party that it was very clean.
As with most Indian restaurants there are plenty of vegetarian options to choose from.
One problem is that we tried to order several dishes (thali, among others) which we found out are only available on certain days. It should be clearer on the menu or they should have different menus for certain days.
Prices are very reasonable. It was around 50$ for 6 people all inclusive.
We ordered: Chicken Dum Biryani: The other person and I agreed that this dish was not too tasty. The rice was cooked well. Chicken Kurma: Best dish we had. The owner stated that this dish was homestyle and he was correct. I would order this again. Chana Masala: The people that ordered this dish stated that the turmeric was not cooked fully. They would not order this again. Malai Kofta: Standard. Nothing special. Paneer Tikka Masala: Tasted exactly like the Malai but not as sweet. Standard like most Indian places. Tastes like tomato throughout. Naan: Good
Overall we would probably not come back but would like to try the other dishes that the other reviewers stated...

The access to this little gem is a bit odd to navigate - as its upstairs. But if you park in the front you go up the escalators in the center of the walkway. From the back garage park in the far corner next to the glass doors (& you'll find the escalators).
I travel around the country to most major cities & literally look for gr8 Thai & Indian places.
I usually start off with Briyani bc if an Indian restaurant does a gr8 Briyani then you can be sure the rest of the menu is probably good too - so I look everywhere I go.
I can honestly say this place is one of the best Briyani I have ever found in any major city I've traveled to!
If this chef lived in India during the Mogul times - she would definately be the personal "Chef to the Maharajah" -
Not kidding - it's that good...
The Spicy Briyani is truly spicy & delivers on layers of taste!
If you can handle spicy then go for it - just have alittle yogurt, buttermilk (or cream if you hate sour milks) ready to mix into it to cut the heat if it's too much for you.
They can do mild or mid-spicy also.
And they have a "Gongora" Briyani.
I found that unusual but it's fast become a favorite.
It seems to put just one more flavor layer into the taste & we really like it!
And the curry chicken is gr8 too! Both the Andran & the Hyderabadi Curry Chicken are delicious!
Regardless - this place has the best Briyani I've yet found in Huston...
