Connie's Seafood — Restaurant in Houston

This restaurant is not a high-end 5 star, but it is an amazing one at that. What I love about this small place is that the music is always booming, the bar is usually filled with customers that aren't aggressive (my experience) at all. If anything the waitresses, bartender and few customers sing along to the song outloud without a worry in the world. Which to my experience is great. Makes you feel welcomed at all times. Now next topic, the food! The food is not bad. I always get seafood and it doesn't let me down, its good to me and my tummy :) let us not forget the awesome combo of seafood and margaritas! But parents out there dont worry. They also have a kids meal in the menu and security at all times, which always makes me feel safe...

Went there Saturday evening. Music was way too loud! young lady behind counter noticed our expression. Must be new, because we are regulars. She lowered it down, but 3 songs in turns it back up!! We were going to stay and have another drink or 2 but we couldn't hear each other talk. I didn't say anything because she kept looking singing with this look on her face. We paid our bill and left. For a Saturday evening it really wasn't busy, we normally can't find parking...maybe we aren't the only ones annoyed by the extremely loud music. Perhaps some rules should be put in place regarding the volume of the music at this...

Went in by myself, place had about seven tables being served. Took a while for my server to get to me, that's fine. But when she did go by she showed no customer service at all, no hello no nothing just quickly asked me what I wanted. It felt awkward. Food took about twenty minutes, another server noticed and went to my table to let me know it was on the way, obviously even she knew It was a wait. Finally got my meal which was very good. Server never went by my table and never once got a refill, I was sucking on ice cubes for twenty minutes. Never...
