Initially, I enjoyed the variety of clothing and shoes they had to offer. I had my 9 month old baby in my arms as my cousin and I decided to shop here as we have a vacation out the country to Costa Rica at the end of the month. Upon our arrival, we were greeted and browsed a bit of the selection and everything was fine. However, things began to take a turn and my experience plummeted. I went to try on a few article of clothing with my cousin assisting me as she holds my daughter. The clerk stated that there could only be one person in the dressing room as we both walked in. Before I could express to her that my daughter will have a fit if I'm out of eyesight, she walked away. I began trying on the clothing and I hear a gentleman's voice who I assume to be loss prevention (and hadn't seen him the entire TWENTY minutes prior to going into the dressing room) stating that there could only be one person. I explain to him my problem at hand and he said ok then, just leave the door cracked. I obliged and left it crack. Though, it was heavy and a swinging door and continued to shut close. I even attempted to put my cardigan on it to leave it "cracked," but that didn't work. He came back and stated, "umm, the door isn't cracked." I explain that it keeps shutting closed. My cousin intervened and just stated that she would stand in the doorway. Please be mindful that my cousin nor myself had any bags of any sort and came in with our wallets and the clothes on our backs. But as we exited the dressing room and continued to look around, we were literally being followed and profiled like thieves by the "loss prevention" person. Again, I had not seen him the entire time before entering the dressing room and to my surprise, he was at our every turn. First and LAST time shopping and spending my hard earned money here just to be treated...
Read morePlease save yourself some time and money shopping here. The clothes are not that great when its comes to quality. I bought a 2 piece outfit here for about $50.00. As you can, the pants split right down the middle in the seam area. Ruin my night out! The next day I tried to return with my receipt (and even would have taken an exchange) but the owner said he would not accept it. Clearly, this merchandise was poorly sown together and as customer, I was forced to keep it. The owner was not professional at all, and begin to raise his voice. He was rude, loud, and showed no respect.Never again will I shop here, and was sure to tell everyone I know about my horrible experience. Ladies, Fashion Nova, online boutiques, and a few Houston stores sells the SAME EXACT merchandise. Please try one of them, they value their customers and business. They also have great return options. I love to support small businesses but this place never ever will get my business again. There should be major changes in the quality of their clothes and also professionalism should be taught....
Read moreEvery time I step foot in this place I'm reminded of why I continuously tell myself "I'll never shop here again". As soon as you walk in the door you're treated as if you've already stolen something. When I first heard that there would be a Fashion House basically right around the corner from my home I was ecstatic, but now I guess I'll just have to continue giving my hard earned coins to Ross and other stores in the area. Before I finish I cant forget to mention that almost every security guard/ loss prevention stare at you like a piece of meat and make you feel as uncomfortable as they possibly can. The owners have assumed that because they're located in a area where the majority is minority that it's fine to treat everyone like convicted felons, but they're failing to realize that they're running their business into the ground with this unacceptable treatment. I refuse to give ANYONE my hard earned money who believes that I am nothing but a common thief because of the area I reside in no matter how DECENT the...
