You will find Extremely poor service at this store from floor associates, to managers, They lack customer service education and floor associates lack knowledge about products that they sell. They do not do price matching. Even after you are told by Home Depot corporate customer support that they do or should. The website to this particular location always shows that they have items in stock. But when you get there. good luck finding what you are looking for. even if it shows on line they have 10 items in stock. No one is organizing or keeping up their inventory. If you call to check to find if they have an item available. Expect to hear the "Welcome to Home depot Please Hold" many times. Why do you pick up the phone if you are not going to allow someone to ask a question. Please pick up the phone when ready to interact with the customer. And when you get to talk to someone expect to find no answer to your questions. and If you ask to speak to a manager you will get and uneducated answer from the manager himself. Checkout has always been slow at this store. but now more than ever. At checkout Be prepared to form a long disorganized line due to Covid19. Even when there are registers available for checkout. This could be avoided with more organization from management. Paying cash or card makes a difference in this store. There are more people paying cash at this store so it defeats the purpose to quick checkout. which exposes you for a longer period of time to someone that may be positive for Covid19. if you use your card. even if the self checkout card only registers are available. you can not advance to those. you are required to form a line with people paying cash. Read moreA hardware store is a hardware store. But, when you offer classes that you advertise nationally on tv, deliver. This is the second time I've come to this location for a class and no one had any idea that they were offering a class. It was a lawn maintenance class, when I went to the garden dept two millenials (a young woman & young man) tried to send me to the other side of the store to the tools dept. I was like that makes no sense, so she finally did the smart thing and call someone, found out the class was less than 30 ft from where we were standing @ the entrance to the garden dept (I walked past it as I entered & thought nice display for a class). So, after standing there 15 minutes, a random employee inquire if I needed help and tried to assist me and eventually gave me about 15 minutes of advice I could have gotten from my neighbor (whose lawn maintenance is next level). I know these classes purpose is offer you information to get you to purchase merchandise from HD, but in every failed hustle, not even giving the sucker what they're expecting to get for free before you try to get them to empty their pockets after buying your weed & seed or lawn mower is key for the hustle to work. HD can't even be bothered, but again another nationwide corporation that is a bloated mess, but profitable I hear. Read moreCan never find anything in plumbing or electrical. All fittings are mixed up and in the wrong boxes. Tonight I spent about an hour digging to find 3 fittings I needed and one toilet. Online it says they have toilet in stock but it was nowhere to be found so I settle for a different one and couldn't find the 3" T or the 4" 3" 4" T fittings that was 2 of the 3 fittings I needed so I piece together a couple other fitting with adapters to make some the will get the job done. Now it is 10:05 pm I've spent over an hour getting what should have taken me 15 min due to the extremely unorganized state of this store. I roll my cart to the register only to be told to come back tomorrow because they closed the registers. Not only will I not return tomorrow, I will never step foot in this store again. I will go to an entirely different store chain to make this $500 purchase and possibly all future purchases also. I have always shopped only home Depot and always recommend home Depot to all of my customers the past 20 yrs and I get materials for jobs two or three times a week spending five to fifteen hundred each visit but I refuse to due business with a company that will turn a customer away empty handed when they have given no warning of even closing. Now I have to show up on the job at 7 am and explain to my customer why I don't have the couple things needed to finish up then go to the store get the stuff and not get started till 8 or 9.
