LA Crawfish — Restaurant in Houston

I truly love la crawfish. I frequent the Humble and Bunker Hill locations both of which are amazing. This new location off east Little York leaves a lot to be desired. My order was 5lbs of shrimp (which I only got 2lbs), 4lbs crawfish, 3 doz lemon pepper wings, 3 doz of naked wings, 2 doz of jalapeño wings, 2 doz sweet sticky wings, 6 sausage and 8 potatoes. This was for a very last minute party. Partially my fault because they opened containers for me to view food but I did pick the bag up for the shrimp. When I called I was told the 12 shrimp = a pound 🤦🏾‍♀️. Not sure what type of math this is🤷🏾‍♀️. But the shrimp also were not seasoned. I’m going to stick to my two older locations. Really was excited about this new location coming ☹️. They did offer me a discount on my next order but I’m pass.

Don't get the king crab! I just wasted $70+tip on a pound (4 legs) of the worst king crab legs I've ever had. The shells were so soft the the legs just bent and squished in my hands instead of snapping clean. I ended up having to resort to using my pocket knife to cut the legs open, because there was no way to get them open otherwise. The meat was rubbery with little flavor, and more gray than red. I know this place just opened, but it was like the crab had been frozen far too long before cooking. I eventually gave up on trying to eat my meal, and just walked to the grocery store nextdoor and bought a rotisserie chicken to take home for dinner.

Severely disappointed, and won't be coming back to this location. Which is a shame, because I was really looking forward to...

Shrimp were so dirty!!!! Thought I’d try this place since it’s new location near me, I instantly regretted it. We got 2 orders of shrimp, flavor was garlic , they had head with eyes and long legs still attached, the first one I peeled and ate I instantly wanted to spit out as it felt like I was eating shrimp with rocks. They were so dirty not cleaned at all. We had to peel all the shrimp and use a fork to devein them then clean them with a napkin, some we had to run under water cause they were that dirty.
