Donald's Donuts — Restaurant in Houston

Had not been to this since we moved out of Bears Branch and thought i would this morning. Bad idea, bought the Chappel Hill sausage kolache. The sausage was so tough that i could not bite through it. Took it back inside and was told that was the way Chappel Hill sausage is. Chappel Hill is a very successful operation and i seriously doubt that they got that way selling sausage so tough that it can't be ate. I left as i coukd see it was only going to be a debate with the owner/manager. Bottom line the 3 sausages i git from there went into the trash and went to Westco Donuts and patronized them. The doughnuts are very tasty as well as their other breakfast items. We loved the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich (be sure to get it heated up), very flavorful and the biscuit was like a croissant. We also really like their breakfast burritos. Very flavorful.
