Donald's Donuts — Restaurant in Houston

6 stars! I've been going here since about 2017 or 2018, and not only has the quality and cleanliness not changed, but neither has the prices or the people. Let me tell you, if you're already perfect, why change it haha. Everything is excellent, the quality of the meats and dough and the selection is great. I've brought everyone I know and they agree that there is rarely any competition to the magic at Donald's. Not only do they treat everyone like family, but even after inflation and pandemics, the prices reflect the care for the community. I honestly go to other donut shops and kolache shops to compare them to here and very few, if any at all, come close. Come in, they're always happy to help and serve you. My recommendation is their jalapeno and bacon kolache, but their chappel hill, boudin, ham n cheese, and regular jumbo kolache is amazing. Great drink selections, and the donuts are all quality. These are the best donuts and kolaches around. If you are wanting mediocre donuts and kolaches, go elsewhere. These are the BEST because they are cooked just right and flavorful. Plus, they have a great variety, so great options to choose from. The place is always kept clean. Not only that, but the family who runs Donald's is simply one of the kindest, friendliest and most sincere families we have had the pleasure of meeting. My entire family has been going here for 20 years if not more. They still remember all of us even if we haven't been in awhile. Go give them a try, you won't be disappointed in the food or service. One of the best experience I've had in a while, that's just based off the customer service and the quality of the donuts and croissant. Cashier did a great job at assisting me and there was a gentleman who seem to either be the owner or a manger. He was very attentive to myself and the customers around, even having the order ready for some of the customers about to walk in. That there shows you how much he interacts and cares for the business, he made me feel value on my first visit ever. The donuts were on point and the croissant was filling.
